Hi! Happy Saturday! It has been so warm out this past week, that I couldn't help dreaming of Spring. I think that's where this card came from with it's garden tea party feel. This is my mom's birthday card. Every night she makes tea for herself and my dad (and anyone visiting). Tea Time Marci from La-La-Land Crafts seemed like the perfect image to color up for her. I printed the digi version, and though retired, she is still available in rubber while supplies last.

Chase Your Dreams
Hey there! I should be asleep right now, but I have some UNBELIEVABLE news and now that it's official I just HAD to share it!
Earlier this month I decided to pursue a dream and submitted my name for an open design team call. Not just any design team... One that supports a company that has a large following of exceptional and outstanding crafters. It is with great joy, and a little bit of incredulity, that I announce I have been selected to be Guest Designer for La-La-Land Crafts for the month of March!!!
Squeeeeee!!!!!!! *does happy dance* See, look!
I am over the moon and thrilled beyond belief! Anyone who reads my blog or follows me on any of my social media platforms knows how much I adore LLLC! I am completely addicted to their dies and I am giddy at the prospect of being on the team as a guest for a month!
To celebrate, and to thank LLLC for this AMAZING opportunity, I have a couple of cards I made for Valentine's Day that I would like to share. One was for my son and the other for his teacher.
Up first is Marci with Rose for Mrs. M. She is colored with Copics and cut using Classic Ovals Nestabilities (Spellbinders). The mat is one of the Floral Ovals Nestabilities (Spellbinders). All the rest of these gorgeous dies are from LLLC! On this card I've used Lattice Border, Lattice Doily Border, Heart Doily Border, Hello Tag, Stitched Tags, Clipboard Border, Arrow, and Heart Globe. A little bling, a couple of flowers, and if that isn't worthy of a good grade for the day, I don't know what is! (Not to mention the Ghiardelli chocolates and homemade heart-shaped chocolate chip cookie pop!) Lol
Here is the card I made for Kayne. He sometimes likes to help me in the kitchen when I bake so I printed this adorable Heart Cookies Luka for his card. This little cutie is colored with Copics and cut using the Stitched Squares from My Favorite Things Stamps. The banner the sentiment is stamped on is MFT as well. The Picture Wheel is Tim Holtz and the rest are from my LLLC collection. Here I've featured Sunburst, Stitched Bracket Border, Heart Fan, Rolling Pin and Whisk, Heart Arrows, Steampunk Heart Cogs, and String of Hearts Border. The small heart is a Martha Stewart punch.
I cannot wait for March to arrive now! Okay, I guess I should get some rest.... I will be having sweet dreams for sure!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing in my happy news!

Red Hot Lady Raven
Hello! It's snowing here again and the storm is predicted to last through tomorrow so I am checking things off my To Do list today. So far we've had bacon for breakfast (yes, that was absolutely on the list), made Valentine's Day goody bags for school, and I've done some DT admin work online. Still on the list are things like dishes, laundry, dinner, and Valentine's Day baking. And maybe, hopefully, some crafting time. Currently I am knocking out that DT blog post item on the list.
I'm one of the DT coordinators and Facebook group admins for KennyK Stamps and Club KennyK. For 2107 we are changing the way we do our challenges and give away our freebies. If you would like to find out how to get this month's awesome freebie you'll need to join us over at Club KennyK and enter the monthly challenge. It's that easy and our theme is always "Anything Goes"! Each month there will be a new challenge and a new freebie. This month's image is from the Steampunk Burlesque collection and her name is Scarlett West!
The DT has a theme to work with each month and for February that theme is Red Hot! I colored up one of my all time favorite KennyK Stamps digis, Lady Raven! She is the very definition of HOT! I colored her with Copics, opting for red hair and outfit, then I fussy cut her and popped her up with foam squares to give her dimension. I added dies from my collection, some recycled black mesh, and a length of rose ribbon. Most of the dies are from La-La-Land Crafts. On this card I used Heart Fan, Lacy Heart, Lacy Heart Border, Dress Form, Wings, and Filigree Crown. The flames are from a My Favorite Things Stamps set called Accent It - Rock and Roll and the zipper is a Marianne Designs Craftables die.
Hope you like my card and that maybe you'll visit us over on Facebook! And now I'm off to do that other thing on my To Do list... shovel! Again. Lol
Have a fabulous day!

Mo's Digital Pencil Trio
Hi! We are in the middle of a snowstorm here and there's no school or work today! And what better way to spend a snow day than blogging and crafting, right? So I thought I'd pop in to share a few cards I made recently with Mo's Digital Pencil images. I've also entered the current Anything Goes Challenge #272 at DP2 Challenge.
My first card is a first birthday card. I used One (girl version) and colored her up with my Copics. As usual I used a bunch of dies from my collection. Most are from La-La-Land Crafts. Here I've featured Filigree Border, Filigree Moon, Heart Banner, Hot Air Balloon, ad Hello Tag. The image is matted on Labels Fifteen Nestabilities (Spellbinders). I added some flowers, a sparkly binder clip, and ruched ribbon. The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch.
As soon as I saw Dwarfs 5-7 I knew I needed them! I used two of them for birthday cards for my my dad and one of my brothers. This is Dwarf 6 and he is colored with Copics. Masculine cards are always one of those crafty challenges that get me so I tend to keep them simpler than my other projects. I did use a few dies on this one, though. The Weather Clock is a Tim Holtz Bigz die (Sizzix), Fishtails Flags is My Favorite Things Stamps, and Birthday Corner and Diamond Lattice Border are La-La-Land Crafts. The compass coin is also Tim Holtz.
The final card was made for my dad. I think the bald head, beard, and mustache reminded of him! Lol Although my dad's not rotund like this fella. I've got some La-La-Land Crafts dies going on here too. On this card I've featured Lattice Doily Border, Steampunk Border, and Stitched Bracket Border. The banner border is My Favorite Things Stamps. The metal gears are Tim Holtz.
Hope you enjoyed my creations! Now to go shovel...

Sunflowers and Stars
Hi there! Just me doing some more catching up! Today I am sharing a couple of Ching-Chou Kuik cards I made. These images are so beautiful and a dream to color! And sadly, another collection of underused images in my digital stamp stash. I really need to make 2017 a year of variety!
It's the weekend but we don't have much planned here. Dinner at my parents'. A 100 days of school project. Dishes, laundry, Sunday meal prep. Maybe I can squeeze in a little crafting. (There's some big game on or something, but probably not in this house. Lol) I have so many digi images already printed and I with my mom's birthday and Valentine's Day coming up I know I will need a few cards.
The first card was a special order from my co-worker for his wife's birthday. I colored Keep in Faith because she likes sunflowers. I then used some of my La-La-Land Crafts die collection to give the card layers and texture. Here I've used Flag Banner, Lattice Doily Border, Open Leaf, Hello Tag, and Heart Header Border. The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch. Lastly, I added a big flower and a bling flourish. The stamped sentiment is from a clear acrylic set called Sentiment Circles by Katie Pertiet (Autumn Leaves).
My second project was a holiday card for my son's principal. I colored Wishing Stars for the occasion. The star border is Tim Holtz Star Cluster (Sizzix) and the other stars are Accent It - Rock and Roll Die-namics from My Favorite Things Stamps. Filigree Border, Snowflake Border, and Snowflake Flurry dies are from La-La-Land Crafts. A couple of flowers finished it off.
I hope you like my creations! It's awfully quite in blogland lately! I'd like to give a shout out to Glennis for her recent comment and for taking the time to read my blog!
Have a fantastic day!

Crazy Love
Hi! Today I am sharing a card I made for a contest over at Kit and Clowder on their Facebook Group. The contest is sponsored by Some Odd Girl. I have a few of their images but had yet to color one up. The contest required use of a specific image called Crazy Love Tia which was only $1 with a special discount code. Well, how could I resist after seeing it?! I needed a birthday card for my co-worker anyway so it worked out quite nicely! Of course, I grabbed a few more images while I was there and I think you will be seeing more creations with them soon...
I colored the image with my Copics. I used a photo of the recipient's cat to get the shading right. The fun sentiment is from a Michaels' small wooden stamp set that also included "Are you kitten me?" Lol Dies are from La-La-Land Crafts (Paws, Paw Scalloped Border, Triangle Lace Border, Lattice Doily Border, and Lattice Border) and My Favorite Things Stamps (Smart Phone and Happy Birthday). I added a few flowers and paper straws.
I would love to commit to spending more time over at Kit and Clowder! Alyce's classes and her community are truly amazing! I don't often get to play along with the coloring challenges there so I'm glad I made the time and effort for this one! Plus, bonus - I had a personalized card for my co-worker!
Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous day!
