Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Pinkette Preview: Lil Easter Chocie Coraline

Over at Tickled Pink Stamps we are in the middle of previews for the newest Lil Pinkette release, and I'm not sure it gets any cuter! So far we've seen Lil Easter Pinkette Daisy August and Lil Easter Pinkette Bunny Pippa. I believe I have finally bested the darned head cold I've been fighting for a week so today I'm here to share Lil Easter Pinkette Chocie Coraline with you! She is looking super sweet on my card, I think, colored with Copics and paired up with some papers from DCWV's Sweet stack, a doily, and my usual floral and pearl embellies. Her lil bunny friend may have trouble hearing all the "Oohs" and "Aws" though as she's already had a nibble at his ear!

Tickled Pink Stamps Sponsors Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog

Hello, my blogland friends! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far! I was lucky enough to be able to have a crafty play date with my good friend, Jazzy T, on Friday. We often do more chatting than card making, but it's all good! This time we discussed her starting up her own blog. I did manage to get a card made, too! Today I'm sharing a creation I made for Tickled Pink Stamps' sponsorship of the Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog. The theme is Valentines. I have used one of the adorable Lil Haunting images from their Lil Pinkette collection. Her name is Fairy Coraline and I love how versatile she is! I have used her for Halloween and Christmas already and now here she as a sweet Valentine. She is colored with a combination of Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers. I seem to love to fussy cut my images and have done that here before using some foam squares to pop her up. This fabulous paper is called Union Square from Michaels' Recollections line. I loved the sentiment printed on this sheet and knew I wanted to use it as my background. The striped strip is from a DCWV stack called Downtown Loft. Her wings are coated with copper Stickles, and I've added a distressed doily plus some flowers and pearl flourishes from my stash. The XO is a Making Memories brad.

Tickled Pink Stamps Pinkettes in Review - Coraline

Hello, blogland! I'm sorry I've been so quiet this week! I have no excuse except to say that I caught up on some housework, spent quality snuggle time with my small man, and have started on Christmas preparations! A few presents have been purchased, the tree is up (though not decorated yet), and last night my son had his pictures taken with Santa! Okay, so I had to bribe him with a new Hot Wheels car to get him to cooperate, but a mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do, right?! lol I am officially in the spirit and ready to tackle Thanksgiving next week! Except now I have projects piling up and deadlines looming so I'd better start sitting my crafty a$$ down at my scrap desk every night! lol And that is just what I did to finish this fun, festive holiday card to show you!

Tickled Pink Stamps has some fabulous images, as you know, and one of their collections is the Lil Pinkettes! With a new year, and new releases, fast approaching we wanted to take some time to do a {PINK} review with you! We want to make sure you didn't miss an image you love so the Pinkette design team members each selected their favorite to show you this month. For November we were to chose from August, Coraline, or Pippa! I think these are my three favorites so it was hard to decide, but when it came down to it I selected Lil Haunting Pinkette Fairy Coraline. And would you look what I did with her? I made her a Christmas fairy! Just to illustrate how versatile these adorable images are!

I love sketches! So how could I resist Kellie's beaut that she created for this week's Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge?! It wasn't my team's week to post a creation so I decided to use it for this project instead. Papers are from a retired Stampin' Up collection called Holiday Treasures. A little dry embossing, a few of my usual embellies (flowers, pearls, and a snowflake charm) plus some Stickles on her wings make this fairy deck the halls ready!

Tickled Pink Stamps Preview Day 1 - Lil Party Pinkette Coraline

I'm back with another post as promised! This is to debut to you the FABULOUS new Lil Pinkette collection from Tickled Pink Stamps! There are FOUR brand new, gorgeous images to show you! Today is Day 1 of the previews, and I have Lil Party Pinkette Coraline to show you! Isn't she sweet in her poufy party dress, holding her balloon!? It's October, and I'm still in Halloween mode so I decided it was a Halloween birthday party she is attending. I colored her up with my Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers, using shades of orange and black/gray for her dress. The papers are Stampin' Up and a spook-tacular matstack from DCWV called Ghosts & Goblins. Details include some satin ribbon embellished with a vintage looking button and baker's twine, a creep-tastic flower arrangement, and a bit of black rhinestone bling. The spider web border was made using a Martha Stewart punch. The sketch is from Mojo Monday, (#209) and I've rotated it to accommodate my image.

My card is also for this week's Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge! The theme this week is #40 - ANYTHING GOES! The only requirement is that you use a Tickled Pink Stamps image to participate. These include the following collection found in the TPS online store: Lil Lolitas and Lil Lads, Lil Pinkettes, Pink Pets, and Cherrie.

I'd also like to enter this in the current Digital Tuesday Challenge, which is "We Like To Party". They want to see you link up creations for any kind of celebration (birthday, anniversary, wedding, holiday). The only other requirement is that you use a digital element. My image is the digi version.

Tickled Pink Stamps Preview Day 4 Spinks and Spooks Collection - Lil Pinkette Haunting Fairy Coraline

I couldn't be more excited, except if Halloween were actually here! We are in the midst of previewing the new images from Tickled Pink Stamps for the August release! The Spinks and Spooks collection consists of 2 Lolitas, 2 Lads, and 4 Pinkettes (two of which are boys!) and they are ALL Halloween themed!!! Woo Hoo!

I have used the current sketch (#3) from Pink {Ink} Sketch Challenges for my card front layout. I decided to make an easel card because I love them so and thought it would be the cool thing to do. Plus I adore this gorgeous paper from My Mind's Eye and wanted you to be able to see it. My image is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Markers, and her wings have a light coating of Martha Stewart glow-in-the-dark glitter on them. I haven't tested it to see if it really does glow, but even if it doesn't, it adds nice little shimmer to her. I embellished with lace, flowers, Dew Drops, a glitter chipboard flourish from my stash and a Halloween brad.

I had so much fun making this! I know it's only August, but I brought out all my Halloween crafting supplies, and I will be making more Halloween cards ASAP! I am back with post #3 for the day! I've been a busy girl for it being my birthday! But I have the afternoon to relax if I choose (or I can craft) before the small man and I head off to my birthday dinner with the family. I always choose a Mexican place... I love the stuff!

I had seen the creepy bug paper in a Martha Stewart designer paper pad I have in my stash and thought she might make an adorable Goth in training when paired with it. Heehee! So I went with black, gray, and cream only for my color scheme and used the bug paper. Corline is colored with Copics, and I added a little glaze to the magnifying glass lens. The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up set called Cute as a Bug. Very fitting, I thought.

Preview Day One with Lil Pinkette Tom Boyz Coraline

Oh, BOY, am I excited!!! "Why" you ask... Well, the answer to that question is two part. First, I am thrilled to announce that I have been chosen as one of the design team members for the new Pinkette design team at Tickled Pink Stamps!!! I was over the moon when I found out and my excitement has not abated as we prepare for a blog hop and a new release on June 12th here (June 13th in Australia, where TPS is located). The other reason for my excitement is the fabulous images that I get to play with! Just wait until you see them all and you will understand! And I am beyond happy to be able to share them with you... This for all those girls out there who would rather muddy it up in the sand box than play with a doll. Here we have Coraline; she has decided her play time will involve rounding up some bugs.
