Good morning! Welcome to the latest Corrosive Challenge! Rebecca is our hostess this time around and in honor of my upcoming birthday she choose "Perfectly Purple" as our theme! I have used the image Celebrating Your Day to create a birthday card in my favorite color! She is colored with Copics and cut using Labels Fourteen Nestabilities (Spellbinders). I also used several of my La-La-Land Crafts dies: Lattice Doily Border, Lattice Border, Hot Air Balloon, Birthday Flag, and Scalloped Banner. I added lots of shabby chic elegance with a paper doily, Shabby Blue Fran-Tage, lace, cheesecloth, flowers, a bling swirl, and a punched butterfly (Martha Stewart).

Hello! Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a wonderful week and is looking forward to the weekend! Mine has been a bit of a roller coaster, but when the ride stopped I exited with a smile. And I've lots to smile about! One of those things was being asked to be guest designer over at the artbymiran challenge blog! I was allowed to select two images as my prize for winning this honor. I picked Pop Star Suzy to use on today's card for Challenge #28. She is colored with Copics and cut with Classic Rectangles Nestabilities. Papers are from the Rock Star stack (DCWV) and remind me of the movie Clueless. One of my faves! It must be the pink. And the plaid. Anyway... I used the current Tuesday Morning Sketches (#292) for my layout and added flowers, a bit of bling, and two music related dies - Virtuoso Music and Musical Motifs (both from Memory Box).

Hello again! I'm back to tell you about the new Corrosive Challenge as well! This fortnight we are welcoming back fabulous sponsor artbymiran and her gorgeous art! She was so generous and allowed the team to select a few images to work with! I choose to play with Lovely Irene for our "Things with Wings" theme. I colored Irene with Copics and cut her using the Floral Ovals Nestabilities (Spellbinders). I don't know if you can tell, but I took my time with her pleats. Not perfect, but it's a start and I was pretty pleased all in all. I used a Tim Holtz Alterations Bigz die (Sizzix). This one is called Caged Bird. The arrow is also Tim Holtz (love that man), and the small heart is a Martha Stewart punch. I added flowers and a Recollections charm. Papers are Bramble Rose (My Mind's Eye).

We had to dig ourselves out yet again over here! My city has had 100 feet of snow this Winter so far and there is more on the way! I don't know about you, but I am really ready for Spring! Maybe that's why I chose the colors I did and added lots of flowers to my card! lol

Hey there! I'm back with a card for Art by MiRan. I was asked to be their guest designer for Anything Goes Challenge #11 over at the challenge blog! I was thrilled to be a winner and to be asked to join them! I was able to select two images as my prize and one of those was Girl Friday. I needed a 40th birthday card for a co-worker so I colored her up with Copics and cut her out using Labels Two Nestabilities (Spellbinders). I had embellishment fever and added a few pretties from my stash: flowers, glitter stickers, glitter clip, paper clip, a Martha Stewart border punch, and Little Darlings Rubber Stamps Lovely View die (Spellbinders). Papers are Recollections Fabulous Girl.

I went clean and simple with this card so that I could play along with the Facebook group challenge, but I have to tell you this is not my preferred style at all. Every time I look at it I have to resist the urge to add STUFF! lol As it stands it is just my image, also colored with Copics; a Fiskars border punch; and Chit Chat word stickers from Tim Holtz to create the sentiment. The polka dot paper is from my stash and I don't even know who makes it. The sketch is from Clean & Simple Stamping (#296).
