Happy Easter! I hope the Bunny was good to everyone and that there is enough chocolate in your house to make your dentist cringe! Before I head off for Easter dinner with the family, I wanted to tell you quickly about a fabulous Tickled Pink Stamps sponsorship for Paper Sundaes! It is one of their yummy sundae "toppings" bar challenges, and you have some delightful items to choose from - kraft card stock, die cuts, lace, and charms. You must select at least 2 of the 4 to use on your project. I had it in my head that "lace" was "doily" for some reason so I have only used 3 out of 4! Oopsie!! Although the Martha Stewart border punch I used does have a definite lacy feel to it.
For my card I've selected School Pinkette Heidi as my image. She was recently released along with her three classmates - Chloe, Kira, and Jessie! Papers are from the Grade School stack from DCWV. The fish tail pennant element was made with pieces from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics from My Favorite Things. I added a few WOC flowers and an apple charm. My layout is the current Mojo Monday sketch (#235).
Be sure to head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what the rest of the {PINK} ladies have created! And play along over at Paper Sundaes for your chance to win a fantastic TPS prize!
Enjoy your holiday, if you celebrate it, and have a lovely day!

Hello, my blogland friends! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far! I was lucky enough to be able to have a crafty play date with my good friend, Jazzy T, on Friday. We often do more chatting than card making, but it's all good! This time we discussed her starting up her own blog. She is a talented natural at paper crafting, and I thought it was time she show the world. Please check out her new blog, Wasted Scraps, and leave her some love or become a follower.
I did manage to get a card made, too! Today I'm sharing a creation I made for Tickled Pink Stamps' sponsorship of the Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog. The theme is Valentines. I have used one of the adorable Lil Haunting images from their Lil Pinkette collection. Her name is Fairy Coraline and I love how versatile she is! I have used her for Halloween and Christmas already and now here she as a sweet Valentine. She is colored with a combination of Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers. I seem to love to fussy cut my images and have done that here before using some foam squares to pop her up. This fabulous paper is called Union Square from Michaels' Recollections line. I loved the sentiment printed on this sheet and knew I wanted to use it as my background. The striped strip is from a DCWV stack called Downtown Loft. Her wings are coated with copper Stickles, and I've added a distressed doily plus some flowers and pearl flourishes from my stash. The XO is a Making Memories brad.
Please head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what my amazing teamies have to share with you! And if you want to play along for your chance to win a fabulous Tickled Pink Stamps prize, link your Valentines project over at Paper Sundaes!
Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, E13, E15, E31, E25, E27, E34, R27, R29, R20) and Prismacolor Art Markers (150, 151, 152).
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges as well:
- Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge: #117 - Things with Wings
- Crafty Purple Frog Challenge: Valentine's Day/Show Us Some Love
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your Sunday!

I am back with post #3 for the day! I've been a busy girl for it being my birthday! But I have the afternoon to relax if I choose (or I can craft) before the small man and I head off to my birthday dinner with the family. I always choose a Mexican place... I love the stuff!Anyway, back to my real reason for this post! I'm here to tell you about another sponsorship from Tickled Pink Stamps. This time it is Paper Sundaes Challenges and theme for the week is a sketch (#81 - Alicia's Sketch, seen above). You all know how I adore sketches so how could I not play along? Since I am a Pinkette DT member I chose Lil Pinkette Tom Boyz Coraline to work with today. She is so cute with her ladybug shirt, but I have been in a darker mood lately (I have Halloween on the brain! lol). I had seen the creepy bug paper in a Martha Stewart designer paper pad I have in my stash and thought she might make an adorable Goth in training when paired with it. Heehee! So I went with black, gray, and cream only for my color scheme and used the bug paper. Corline is colored with Copics, and I added a little glaze to the magnifying glass lens. The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up set called Cute as a Bug. Very fitting, I thought.
Thanks for taking a peek! Be sure to pop on over to the TPS blog to see the details on the sponsorship AND to check out the fabulous previews that are going on now. They are for the amazing new Lil Spinks and Spooks Halloween collection and includes new images from both Lil Lolitas & Lil Lads and Lil Pinkettes! Be sure to leave comments there for your chance to win!
Before you go, just a reminder that I have birthday blog candy you might like to enter your name to win as well!
Have a fabulous day! XXX
