Witchy Woman

What better way to celebrate my birthday than by making a card for my favorite holiday!  Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring Creative Inspirations this week and the theme is "ANYTHING GOES"!  So of course I opted to create something Halloween!

I chose Lil Haunts Witch Lylah as my image.  I remembered that I had these cool Martha Stewart Elegant Witch coasters in my crafty stash.  I also happened to have the matching Elegant Witch paper mat stack!  Perfect!  I colored Lylah with Copics and fussy cut her (no easy feat as this image has lots of thin, delicate areas).  Here is a closer look at my witchy woman:

I created a "frame" for her with the Spellbinders Nestabilities Fleur de Lis and Classic Squares.  A little cheesecloth behind her gives her some definition against the busy background paper.  I really went a little crazy with the embellishments, also adding pearls, flowers, a doily, and a Magnolia Doohickey die cut swirl.

But I like the look of the finished card and think the cluttered chaos works perfectly for this bewitching lady!

Please head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what the other talented {PINK} gals have created for this challenge!  Then play along yourself for your chance to win a fabulous TPS prize!

I'm off to enjoy my yummy chocolate birthday cake!  Hope your day was as special as mine!  Thanks for the visit and please know that all your lovely comments are always greatly appreciated!

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, R20, Y32, Y35, Y38, YG91, YG93, W4, W6, W8, W10).

I'd also like to enter this card in the following challenges:
- The Crazy Challenge: #126-Black, White, and 1 Other (yellow)
Whoopsie Daisy: Die Cuts and/or Punches

Too Cute To Spook

With all the Halloween crafty goodies starting to arrive in the stores I have been in the mood to making cards for my favorite holiday!  Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring Stamptacular Sunday Challenges this week!  They have a photo inspiration challenge for us and imagine my delight when it looked like THIS:

I was giddy!  I printed off Lil Pinkette Haunting Witch Audrey and used some dies to create a card that is too cute to spook!  I recently acquired the fabulous Tim Holtz Branch Tree die and this is my first time using it!  I know it is going to see many more times through my Cuttlebug before Halloween is over!  Witch Audrey is colored with Copics, fussy cut, and popped up on foam squares.

The moon was created with my Classic Circles Nestabilities and a Marble Texture Cube stamps from Stampendous.

The sentiment, which is from a My Favorite Things set by the same name, has been stamped on one of the Spellbinders Fancy Tags dies.  Papers are My Mind's Eye - Halloween Scary Sparkles.  I added some black lace, a Martha Stewart punched bat (complete with rhinestone bling trail), and a metal corner.

My layout is from the current challenge for Terrifically Thrilling Thursday at Shelly's Images.  There is a fabulous sketch, but I'm afraid I took a few liberties with it, such as replacing the second rectangle with my tree.  I do hope that you'll stop by the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see how the rest of the {PINK} ladies interpreted the photo inspiration.  And I hope you'll be inspired to play along!

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, E13, E15, E17, E19, W4, W6, W8, W10, R20, Y35, YR04, YR07) and Prismacolor Art Markers (149).

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:
- Sentimental Sundays: #114-Fall
- Catch the Bug: Anything Goes
- Challenge Up Your Life: #75-Everything Goes
- Simply Create Too: #19-Anything Goes
- PaperPlay Challenges: '12-Week 31-Layer It Up
- House of Gilli: #38-Fall Colors

Thanks for visiting and I'll be back in a bit with my second post today for the new Corrosive Challenge!

Tickled Pink Stamps Sponsors Aud Sentiments

I have done it again - procrastinated myself into a predicament!  I have more things to do than I have time available!  So unfortunately I will not have my Sassy Studio Designs preview ready for you.  On the bright side, I do have this cute little lad to show you!  Tickled Pink Stamps is currently sponsoring Aud Sentiments and the challenge is to "Tag It".  We want you to pop your sentiment on a tag!

I decided to make a thank you card as a very nice mum of one of the little boys that Kayne goes to day care with gave us some wonderful hand me downs recently.  I'm talking barely worn GAP and Reebok! So to express our appreciation for her thoughtfulness, I colored up Lil Little Lad Frankie!  I made my tag with the Spellbinders Small Labels die and a hole punch, sponging some Tim Holtz Distress Ink on it before stamping my sentiment.  Papers are Basic Grey - Oxford.

I must collapse into bed and try to get a little sleep now, but please stop over to visit the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what the other {PINK} ladies have come up with for this challenge!  We hope you might even be inspired to play along for a TPS prize!

Thanks for dropping by and have a fabulous day!

Tickled Pink Stamps Sponsors Winter Wonderland Challenges

I have really been enjoying my vacation but it is back to work today, at least as far as my design team duties are concerned!  I actually have three more days before I have to go back to my job!  But I did start crafting again yesterday and this was the first project that I made.  It is a holiday card for today's Tickled Pink Stamps sponsorship of Winter Wonderland Challenges!  As always, the theme is Christmas, but there is a twist - to use a sentiment as a focal point on your creation.

I have used a Tickled Pink Stamps digital image as well as one of their coordinating die and sentiment stamp sets.  My image is Lil Victorian Christmas Lad Luca.  Unfortunately, the rubber sentiment stamps and die set are no longer available.  Luca is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers, fussy cut, and popped up on foam squares.  Papers are Stampin' Up and I simply added one rhinestone corner embellishment to finish it off.  The sketch I used was Just Us Girls (#144), but I missed the deadline for entry.  Ooops!

Be sure to visit the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what the other {PINK} ladies have created for this challenge!

I'd also like to enter this card in the following challenges:
- Stampavie and More: #172-Christmas in Summer
- Crafty Sentiments: Christmas in July
- Lady Bug Crafts Ink: #172-Christmas in July
- Hooked on Crafts: #22-Christmas in July
- Lollipop Crafts: #84-Christmas in July
- The Crazy Challenge: #124-Christmas in July

Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back in a few hours with a new Sassy Studio Designs Fabulous Freebie Friday and some vacation photos!

Celebrate Freedom

Happy 4th of July!!!  While it's nice to have a day off in the middle of the work week, today is about more than just that and fun in the sun.  I wanted to make sure I remember that I live in a country where I am blessed with many freedoms and privileges.  We are not a country without problems and shortcomings, but I feel lucky to be able to celebrate Independence Day in the United States of America.  And today I have a card showcasing my patriotic pride!

I'm here to tell you about Tickled Pink Stamps' sponsorship of Fab 'n' Funky.  Appropriately enough their challenge is "Stars and Stripes" (#128).  I do have striped designer paper and a die cut star on my creation, but what I loved was this designer paper I found at Joann that had the words stars and stripes printed all across it!  It was perfect for this card!

The TPS digi image I selected for my card is Party Pinkette Coraline.  She is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers.  I paper pieced her balloon with the striped paper as well as using it for the star.  The star and ribbon banner dies are both from Spellbinders.  That fabulous rhinestone flourish is a Michaels Recollections embellishment and it reminded me of fireworks so I added it to the card.  The sketch I followed is a fairly CAS one over at Sentimental Sundays.  It was a bonus part of the "Be Patriotic" (#109) challenge this week.

Be sure to stop by the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what the other {PINK} ladies have dreamed up for this challenge.  Not everyone is celebrating July 4th so it's fabulous to see their creative interpretations of the theme!

I will be attending a cook out at my parents' house with the small man today.  We didn't make it to see any fireworks displays this year (with the exception of the illegal ones someone in the neighborhood lights off at all hours of the night!) but we'll enjoy our holiday just the same.  It's probably for the best considering I'm the girl who managed to burn her finger on a fairly innocuous sparkler one year!  lol

Thanks for visiting and hope you have a spectacular day no matter what country's colors you hold dear!

I'd also like to enter this card into the following challenges:
- Celebrate the Occasion: #69-4th of July
- Die Cuttin' Divas: #72-Red, White, and Blue plus add a patriotic symbol (star)
- Party Time Tuesdays: #75-Be Patriotic and Show Your Country's Colors (USA=Red, White, and Blue)

Tickled Pink Stamps Sponsors Send A Smile 4 Kids

Better late than never!  This was supposed to go live this morning, but I wasn't finished with my card.  I was too tired to start it last night, and my first attempt to color my image this morning ended in catastrophe so I had to walk away and come back when I was fresh.  I know, I know... If I didn't always procrastinate and planned for the unexpected I'd never be late.  But if I did all that then I wouldn't be me!  :-)  So anyway, I'm finally here with my card for today's Tickled Pink Stamps sponsorship!  We are sponsoring Send A Smile 4 Kids.  The challenge is "Birthday Fun for Kids".  Here is a little information about this group as they are more than just a challenge blog.

Send A Smile 4 Kids is a charitable blog created for the purpose of collecting donated handmade cards to be distributed to children while they are inpatient at Children’s Hospitals. Currently they are donating them to the several different Children’s Hospitals. On any given day, there are many children inpatient in these hospitals so they would love to receive as many cards as you can send to cheer them and their families. The kids may also use your cards as Thank You notes to the nurses and doctors and to give to parents or relatives on special days like birthdays or Mothers or Fathers Day. Any cards appropriate for children are welcome including any holiday (not religious specific please) and happy any day cards. For more information, please click on Guidelines for Donated Cards Tab.

I have used the adorable Lil Little Lad Luca for my project.  He's colored with Copics, fussy cut, and popped up with foam squares.  I used this awesome sketch from Sketches by Carly (#58) as my layout.  This one was a lot of fun (all Carly's sketches are!)!  The papers are from my stash and I thought they had a youthful look to them.  They're from Basic Grey's Lime Rickey collection.  So fun!  I embossed the square panel behind the image with the Cuttlebug Number Collage embossing folder.  Seam binding, baker's twine, and a ticket sentiment created from a My Favorite Things die and  a TPS sentiment finish off the card.

I hope you will stop over the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what my lovely design team mates have created.  Even though Tickled Pink Stamps is no longer releasing new images, you can still buy the existing ones here in the TPS online store.  Snap 'em up now before they disappear forever!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far!

Tickled Pink Stamps Sponsors Divas By Design

Hello!  Well, we're half way through the work week and that much closer to the weekend.  I'm freaking out a bit as it's one of those crazy, hectic crafty weeks and I am off to a slow start.  I'm hoping to gain some momentum and get things accomplished now.... because sometimes the hardest part is getting started and I've done that!  So today I'm here to tell you about another fabulous sponsorship from Tickled Pink Stamps!  I'm sure many of you have heard the news that Kellie has decided to close TPS down.  It is heart-breaking for TPS fans everywhere, but she needs to do what is best for her and her family.  The good news is that though there won't be any new images released the store will remain open for some time so that you can purchase all your favorite existing Lolitas, Lads, and Pinkettes in digi form!  And since we have some cool sponsorships that we are still participating in, you could possibly WIN a couple of those images too!

Today it's Divas By Design and their challenge is "Tickled Pink"!  Let's see you use LOTS of pink!  I did, but a bit of blue snuck in as well.  My image is Party Pinkette August, and she can be found here in the TPS shop.  She's colored with Copics with a touch of Stardust glitter pen.  Papers are Basic Grey - Urban Prairie.  I've used a couple of dies, one Spellbinder (Picot Circles) and one Die-namics from My Favorite Things.  The only embellishments I added were a few flowers and some large half pearls, one in each corner.  I didn't want to distract too much from the lovely Mojo Monday sketch (#241).  The sentiment is also from My Favorite Things.

If you'd like a chance to play along for a Tickled Pink prize then visit Divas By Design.  Also pop over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what the {PINK} ladies have come up with for this challenge!  It was an easy one for us!  After all, {PINK} is what we do!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check back later this week as I'll have a few posts from Sassy Studio Designs! We're in the middle of previews for the new release, which is happening on Saturday!  Plus I'll have another Fabulous Freebie Friday for you as well!

Have a terrific day!

The Corrosive Challenge #149 - Flowers and Doilies and Bling , Oh My!

Happy Mother's Day!  I want to wish all the moms out there a wonderful day of relaxation and pampering!  I hope that there are some new crafty goodies, and some crafting "me" time, in your future today!  And to help you along with that I'm here to tell you about a fabulous new Corrosive Challenge, sponsored by the awesome Tickled Pink Stamps!

This fortnight at The Corrosive Challenge it's "Flowers and Doilies and Bling, Oh My!"  Use at least two out of the three items on your creation and you could win the monthly prize for May!  TPS has generously offered 2 digi images of choice to our winner!  And you get the chance to be our guest designer for July as well!

My card is a Mother's Day card for my own mom!  I've used Easter Pinkette Daisy August from Tickled Pink Stamps and paired her with this month's sketch from Crafting Life's Pieces (#47).  Both were a lot of fun to work with!  August is my favorite Pinkette.  She reminds me of myself, I suppose.  Papers are Basic Grey - Lemonade.  I added flowers, a doily, and pearls in the center of the flower ribbon (for the bling).  The pennant banner was created using the Banner Day Die-namics die from My Favorite Things.  I placed some chipboard letters on top to spell "MOM".  The border punch is a Martha Stewart one and no creation of mine is complete without Tim Holtz, right?  lol  The metal corner is his.

I hope you'll visit both the Tickled Pink Stamps and The Corrosive Challenge blogs to see the amazing creations that my fellow design team mate have put together for you!  And I hope you'll play along!

I have this post scheduled in advance so that I can sleep in and then I'll be heading out to enjoy some family time and Chinese take-out.  Whatever your day brings, I hope it is fun-filled and happy!  Enjoy!

I'd also like to enter this card in the following challenges:
- Basic Grey: Anything Goes
- Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge: #185-I Love You Mum
- Stamp, Scrap, and Doodle Saturdays: Mother's Day
- Pattie's Creations: #43 -Mother's Day
- Simply Create Too: #13-Mother's Day (or Feminine)

Tickled Pink Stamps Sponsors Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog

Happy Easter! I hope the Bunny was good to everyone and that there is enough chocolate in your house to make your dentist cringe! Before I head off for Easter dinner with the family, I wanted to tell you quickly about a fabulous Tickled Pink Stamps sponsorship for Paper Sundaes! It is one of their yummy sundae "toppings" bar challenges, and you have some delightful items to choose from - kraft card stock, die cuts, lace, and charms. You must select at least 2 of the 4 to use on your project. I had it in my head that "lace" was "doily" for some reason so I have only used 3 out of 4! Oopsie!! Although the Martha Stewart border punch I used does have a definite lacy feel to it.

For my card I've selected School Pinkette Heidi as my image. She was recently released along with her three classmates - Chloe, Kira, and Jessie! Papers are from the Grade School stack from DCWV. The fish tail pennant element was made with pieces from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics from My Favorite Things. I added a few WOC flowers and an apple charm. My layout is the current Mojo Monday sketch (#235).

Be sure to head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what the rest of the {PINK} ladies have created! And play along over at Paper Sundaes for your chance to win a fantastic TPS prize!

Enjoy your holiday, if you celebrate it, and have a lovely day!

Tickled Pink Stamps Sponsors Forever Night

I was super thrilled when I learned that Tickled Pink Stamps was going to be sponsoring the Forever Night challenge blog! And even more excited when I found out the challenge was bling - "dark" (think emo, goth, punk) bling! Halloween is my favorite holiday so I was quite pleased to have an excuse to make a card for it in March.

I choose Lil Haunts Ghost Willow and printed her "big head" size before using my Cuttlebug and Nesties to cut her out in an oval. That fabulous bling framing her is all one piece and was a Michaels find! As soon as I saw it, I knew what I was going to do for this challenge. I was going to use it as a frame! Ms Willow always looks more like a cloaked witch to me than a ghost so that is the direction I took with her, right down to my sentiment (which is from Waltingmouse). I colored her with my Copics, using a touch of white gel and Stardust pens on her eyes. Papers are from my Halloween stash and I've had them for years. I HAD to have them at the time, bought them off eBay, and have been hoarding them ever since. They've only been used on a few cards so I thought it was time to break them out again. They are from Cosmo Cricket's Haunted line. Flowers are mix of I Am Roses and Recollections. I used one of the shapes from the Spellbinders Fancy Tags to add a little interest and added some black lace from my stash for texture.

Please head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what some of the other {PINK} ladies have created for this challenge. And then you'll want to want to visit "where creepy meets creative" and check out the Forever Night challenge blog. Their design team will have some bling-tastic projects for you as well. I hope you'll be inspired to play along!

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, E13, E15, E17, E19, R20, YG03, YG91, W8, V09, V12, V15).

I'd also like to enter this card in the following challenges:
- Addicted To Stamps Challenge: #25-Sketch
- Ruby's Rainbow: #24-Lace

I'll be back in the morning with my Fabulous Freebie Friday card for Sassy Studio Designs. You won't want to miss this image! She is an all-time favorite of a lot of people! Thanks again for taking a peek and for all the lovely comments!

Sassy Studio Designs Sponsorship: Forever Night

Yo ho ho and a cup of coffee! Because rum would just make me sleepier! Java's what I need right now! Or sleep. Maybe that might be an even better idea! lol But before I fall into bed, utterly exhausted after a full day of work and then wrangling the small man through his Easter photo session, I wanted to share the card I made for the new Forever Night challenge, sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs! The theme this week (#30) is one I can never resist: PIRATES! Forever Night is a "dark" challenge blog, and this is right up my alley so I wasted no time volunteering to participate.

For my card, I've used Angelica from the Sassy Studio Designs' Pirates of the Caribbean collection. I love her outfit; it makes her look so sexy and adventurous! She is colored with Copics, fussy cut, and popped up with foam squares. The sketch is from Try Stampin' on Tuesday (#56), and I've rotated it to accommodate my image. The sentiment is also from SSD - a retired Fairy Tale sentiment set. Papers are My Mind's Eye. Flowers, bling, and pirate doubloon are from my stash.

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, E15, E17, E19, E23, E25, E27, R20, B32, B34, W4, W6, W8, W10) and Prismacolor Art Markers (149).

If you'd like a chance to win a Sassy prize, head over to the Forever Night challenge blog to see what their design team has created using SSD images and then link up your pirate themed creation for your chance at the booty!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous Friday! (Oh, and speaking of... don't forget to visit SSD at their Paper Craft Planet group for Fabulous Freebie Friday this week! We have a brand new, never before seen image for you courtesy of the lovely and talented owner/artist Lindsay! Be sure to come check it out! You won't want to miss this one!)

'Night!

Tickled Pink Stamps Sponsors Crafting For All Seasons

G'Day, mates! I'm here with a brand new image, just being previewed today, from Tickled Pink Stamps! She's called Lil Australian Lolita Kellita! She is one of four International images from TPS that will take us around the world this week! I simply love them and know you will too!

Now on to my real purpose for the post: I have a fabulous Tickled Pink Stamps sponsorship to tell you about! This fortnight TPS is sponsoring Crafting for all Seasons! The challenge is a color combo, and I have to say it's not one I use very often. Green and yellow. I happened to have the perfect designer paper for this one, though! It's a Basic Grey pack I bought some time back and have attempted to use on several occasions and always abandoned the idea. Well, the Origins collection was just what I needed this time! I am told that Australia's national colors are green and gold so I thought the pairing of this little sheila with this challenge was kismet!

I've used the current sketch over at Graphicat Sketches (#3). And just for playing along Cheri has offered EVERY participant a digi of their choice from her shop! There will also be a grand prize winner who receives a clear stamp selected by the team. How amazing is that?! I love their sketches anyway so that was just an added bonus!

My new My Favorite Things Vintage Flourish die makes its first appearance here. I also have utilized one of my beloved Nesties (Labels Eighteen) as well as some burlap and flowers (a mix of WOC and Recollections). The sentiment is also from My Favorite Things.

Markers used: Copics (311, E21, E00, E13, E15, E17, E19, E31, E34, W4, W6, W8, E04, R20, R32, Y32, Y35, G29, YG93, YG95).

I am also entering the following challenges:
- iCopic Weekly Challenge: #72-Red Hair
- Kaboodle Doodles: #109-Think Spring Let's See Flowers
- Make It Monday: #79-Anything Goes

Head on over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what my hugely talented design team mates have created for this challenge and then on over to Crafting for all Seasons to play along for a fabulous TPS prize!

Thanks for visiting and all your lovely comments are deeply appreciated!

Tickled Pink Stamps Sponsors Do You Stack Up

Today I'm here to tell you about another fabulous Tickled Pink Stamps sponsorship! We're proud to sponsor Do You Stack Up for challenge #59-Layers. This was an easy one for me as I tend to do this on my cards anyway. For my project I've used a sketch from Sketchy Colors (#104) and paired it with papers from the DCWV All About Boys stack. My image is one from the out of this world new Futuristic collection just released by TPS. She is called Lil Futuristic Lolita Christina. The sentiment is also from Tickled Pink Stamps. Flowers and bling are from my stash.

Please head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what my hugely talented design team mates have created for this fun challenge! And if you're so inspired, we hope you'll play along!

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, R02, W4, W6, W8, W10) and Prismacolor Art Markers (15, 17, 192, 25, 27).

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

Sassy Studio Designs Sponsorship: Just Inspirational

Good morning! I hope today finds you well.... Me, I'm a bit groggy this A.M. after another late night of crafting. But before I get moving, get caffeinated, and head to work I'm here to tell you about a Sassy Studio Designs' sponsorship. We are sponsoring Just Inspirational this week! The theme for week 14 is Steampunk, and Lindsay has loads of Sassy steampunk gals in the store that are perfect for this challenge! (And if you joined us for our PCP 5ooth member relay a while back, and played until the end, you got all of them for free!)

I've used one of the frames - this is Amelia. I've colored her with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers, adding a little whimsy by giving her blue hair, and made her the focal point of this week's sketch from Mojo Monday (226). The papers are from a mat stack by DCWV called Tattered Time. Tim Holtz embellishments are perfect for the steampunk look, and I've added a few gears and a word stick. The flowers are from my stash. I finished up with a die cut corner and flanked the card with punched borders from my Martha Stewart Iron Gate punch.

Head over to Just Inspirational to see what their design team has done with our steampunk images and to play along. There you'll find an inspirational photo and an optional sketch. You could win a fabulous Sassy Studios Designs for playing along.

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, R02, R20, E31, E33, E34, E25, E27, YG95, W6, W8, W10) and Prismacolor Art Markers (143, 198, 202).

I'd also like to enter this card in the following challenges:
- Crafty Sentiments: Punches and/or Dies
- Make It Monday: # 74 - Always Anything Goes
- My Crafty Spot: Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Tickled Pink Stamps Sponsors Divas by Design

If procrastination is an art form then I am a masterpiece! I always seem to wait until the last minute to get things done! And today's creation was no exception! (Although, as I type this there are still two hours until the challenge goes live so I suppose it could be worse! lol) I tell myself I work better under pressure, but right now all I'm thinking about is my bed... So briefly, I am here to tell you about Tickled Pink Stamps' sponsorship of Divas by Design. The theme is one we all love: "Anything Goes"!

I chose the digi version of Lil Perfect Match Lolita Pirate Lylah for my project. She is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers. Papers are from the Union Square pad from Michaels Recollections line. I'm really loving these right now! I used a sentiment from Gina K. Well, half a sentiment. It was a birthday greeting but I only inked up the "treasured friend" part. I can now use if for Valentine's Day or just because! I stamped a small treasure map around the edges of my image panel and then distressed it with scissors and ink. The bling swirls, lace, and flowers are from my stash. That super cool pirate doubloon was a RAK from my crafty friend MishB. Sketch is courtesy of Try Stampin' on Tuesday (#51).

Here is a close-up of my image:

If you'd like to see what the rest of the {PINK} ladies made for this challenge then pop on over to the TPS blog! And visit Divas by Design if you'd like to play along for a fabulous Tickled Pink Stamps prize!

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, R20, R37, W6, W8, W10, E25, E27, E34, Y97, B32, B34 ) and Prismacolor Art Markers (149, 169, 203).

I'd also like to enter this card in the following challenges:
- Digital Tuesday: #145 - Red, White, and Black
- Card Crafter's Circle: #7 - Friendship
- The Crazy Challenge: #104 - Flowers

Thanks for looking and I hope my sleep-deprived post contained more cohesive thoughts than gibberish! :) Think {PINK}!!!

Tickled Pink Stamps Sponsors Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog

Hello, my blogland friends! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far! I was lucky enough to be able to have a crafty play date with my good friend, Jazzy T, on Friday. We often do more chatting than card making, but it's all good! This time we discussed her starting up her own blog. She is a talented natural at paper crafting, and I thought it was time she show the world. Please check out her new blog, Wasted Scraps, and leave her some love or become a follower.

I did manage to get a card made, too! Today I'm sharing a creation I made for Tickled Pink Stamps' sponsorship of the Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog. The theme is Valentines. I have used one of the adorable Lil Haunting images from their Lil Pinkette collection. Her name is Fairy Coraline and I love how versatile she is! I have used her for Halloween and Christmas already and now here she as a sweet Valentine. She is colored with a combination of Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers. I seem to love to fussy cut my images and have done that here before using some foam squares to pop her up. This fabulous paper is called Union Square from Michaels' Recollections line. I loved the sentiment printed on this sheet and knew I wanted to use it as my background. The striped strip is from a DCWV stack called Downtown Loft. Her wings are coated with copper Stickles, and I've added a distressed doily plus some flowers and pearl flourishes from my stash. The XO is a Making Memories brad.

Please head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what my amazing teamies have to share with you! And if you want to play along for your chance to win a fabulous Tickled Pink Stamps prize, link your Valentines project over at Paper Sundaes!

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, E13, E15, E31, E25, E27, E34, R27, R29, R20) and Prismacolor Art Markers (150, 151, 152).

Tickled Pink Stamps Sponsors Southern Girls Challenge

Hello, my crafty friends! I have some fabulous news to announce.... I have been asked to join the newly formed sponsorship design team for Tickled Pink Stamps! Most of you know that I'm already on their challenge design team, but now I get to post my creations on the Tickled Pink Stamps blog a few times a month as well! If you have stopped by recently and seen all the talent over there you will understand what an honor that is!

Though I just came on board this week and my official start date is February, of course I'm very excited to be on the team so I decided to jump right in! The first sponsorship I have to tell you about is the Southern Girls Challenge! And the theme this week is one I find challenging but always love the results :white on white (with colored image).

My card features the digital version of Lil Birthday Lad Luca. I colored him with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers and fussy cut him before using foam squares to pop him up on top of the 5x7 panel that I ran through my Cuttlebug with an embossing folder from the Love is in the Air set. I've also added a scalloped heart border with a Martha Stewart punch. A few white Prima flowers, punched leaves and branches (also courtesy of Martha Stewart), and a pearl and rhinestone flourish provide texture and interest. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things and is stamped on to one of my Spellbinder Ribbon Banner dies.

I hope you like my creation today and that you'll visit the TPS blog to see what the rest of the amazingly talented sponsorship team has to share with you! And I hope you've been inspired to play along over at The Southern Girls Challenge for their white on white (with colored image) challenge. You have two weeks to join in the fun (one entry per person please) and you could win a fabulous Tickled Pink Stamps prize if you're one of the lucky winners!

Markers use: Copics (E11, E21, E00, R20, E25, E27, E34, W6, W8, W10, YG95, YG97) and Prismacolor Art Markers (96, 149, 210, 150, 151).

I'd also like to enter this card in the following challenges:
- Crafty Sentiments: Anything Goes
- Digital Tuesday Challenge: #143 - Romantic Card
- Heart Song Inspirations: #31 - Glitter and/or White On White

Sassy Studio Designs Sponsorship: Frosted Designs

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring a fabulous sketch challenge (#7) over at Frosted Designs! If you would like a chance to win 4 SSD images of your choice head on over to check out their design team's inspiration (many using Sassy images) and link up your creation before December 18th.

I chose to use Glowing Gwen for my project. I missed a baby shower for my cousin's wife so my mom and I will send her a little something inside this card. This was a fun sketch to work with! I love the circle elements! The image is colored with a combination of Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers. Card stock is Stampin' Up and the cute designer paper is from a DCWV stack called Nana's Kids. Most of my embellishments are courtesy of Michaels' Recollections line. Though I think the "Love" charm is Making Memories. I can't be positive as I found it loose in my stash. The sentiment is from a My Favorite Things set called Baby Bump, and I altered it slightly so it would fit inside the size circle die I wanted to use.

I have more crafting to do this week and hope I can get it all in with everything else that is going on! It's National Cookie Exchange Week and I instigated a cookie a day swap at work. My turn is Thursday and I will be whipping up my Candy Cane Sugar Cookies. I have the butter out to soften now so I can make the dough when I get up. On top of it all I have to pick up the lay-a-way from the toy store, do some other shopping, and my company holiday party is on Saturday so there will be some primping required for that, of course! I'm sure I'll manage to squeeze it all in somehow, but I'm going to be very tired come Sunday! lol

I hope your holidays are shaping up to be fabulous so far! Thanks for stopping by and please check out the challenge at Frosted Designs when you can!

Sassy Studio Designs Sponsorship: The Crazy Challenge - Scary Ladies

I just need to tell you that it is a small miracle the above photo is posted. Blogger has all of a sudden decided that I can't upload pictures from my computer. And with THE least user friendly help around, it took me over an hour of frustrated searching to find a less than perfect solution. I am able to use my Picasa albums to "blog this". Basically, it will upload the photo into a new post which I can then save as a draft and edit as I normally would. However, this will not help me when I need to add photos to an existing post! I am irritated and tired so will ponder that problem tomorrow.

For now, let's talk about my card and the super cool Halloween-y challenge Sassy Studio Designs is currently sponsoring over at The Crazy Challenge! It's all about "Scary Ladies"! There is also an optional sketch portion to the challenge, which I wasn't aware of. I opted to work with Sassy Bride of Frankenstein. The card is a request I received for a birthday card for a co-worker's wife this weekend. The inside sentiment says "Have a Monster of a Birthday". My layout is pretty simple, allowing my image the spotlight. I added some black lace, flowers, and a black rhinestone bling flourish. Her hair was fun to color and I love the look of the white gel pen lines!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll head over to The Crazy Challenge to play along for your chance to win 4 Sassy Studio Designs images of your choice!

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring Crafts 4 Eternity this week and their challenge is an easy one - Anything Goes!!! I've used Firefighter Honey for my card. She is colored with my usual combination of Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers, fussy cut, and popped up above my Lacey Circle Nestie die cut. That fabulous flame sticker is from my stash and was a clearance purchase some time ago. I also added two Tim Holtz metal corners for some contrast. The sentiment is from a My Favorite Things set.

Be sure to head over and link up your Anything Goes creations at Crafts 4 Eternity for a chance to win a fabulous Sassy prize - 4 Sassy Studio Designs images of your choice!

Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back with another post shortly... a special {PINK} preview so stay tuned!
