The Corrosive Challenge #129 - Sketch Time

Another Corrosive Challenge is upon us and it is SKETCH TIME!!! Janet's sketches are always great because they are simple enough to make a quick CAS card but also lend themselves to being dressed up too. I chose somewhere in-between, adding just a few embellishments so as not to draw attention away from my fabulous image!

Ah, my image.... What is her name and where did I get her, you ask? Well, she's called Skellington Betty, and she is a special limited release digi from this month's sponsor, Simply Betty Stamps! If you want to know how you can get her for FREE then you'll want to check out the SBS blog post here that has all the details! I, of course, made another Halloween card with the image! I am on a roll, and I have learned that there are others out there that love the holiday as much as I do! I used some Stampin' Up designer series papers from my stash, colored Ms Betty with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers and added a few details to finish off the project. I am also entering this creation in the Anything Halloween challenge over at Simply Betty Challenges. The prize is a chance to win two as yet unreleased images and the opportunity to be part of the release day when they are! How cool is that?!?!

I was up way past my bedtime last night. Again. I must be nocturnal! lol I am going to keep this brief so I can rest a bit before I have a small man to attend to and more cards to make. Stay tuned this week for sneak peeks from Sassy Studio Designs , leading up to a new release on Saturday, among other things.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Great card Regan! SKelington Betty looks awesome and I am so happy to see her already colored up and making her appearances here and there! WHooohoo!

I have prisma color markers and just can't get the hang of them like the Copics, but yu have done a marvelous job! I always stay up past my bed time and have a little one to attend to in the mornings too so I am with ya!

Have a great rest of the weekend and thank you again for a wonderful creation!

Oh yay!!! You got the new Betty to play with. Isnt she just the cutest thing ever?!!?? I cut off my puppy and jack and transferred them to the inside of my card. And I too am on a Halloween card kick. I will be making several of those, one including my fave Lilith :)
Love your card! I really like the purple, green and black combo.

Hi Regan! Thanks so much for the link because I'm totally going to have to see what I have to do to get my hands on this image- she is so flippin' cute! (I'm so totally diggin' the high tops...lol!) Such a cute card as always and I love how you colored her.

Thanks for the sweet comments on my blog :) I think I got that sentiment stamp in the 'Hot Spot' area of Archivers a few years back but I know they also have similar ones at Craft Warehouse.

Hope you get a little rest, I too seem to get my second wind at night...not good for sleeping but excellent for uninterrupted crafting :)
Hugs, Katie
