Fabulous Freebie Friday

It's not just a good Friday, it's a fabulous Friday! And this one is even more special because we are welcoming our new Sassy Studio Designs Fabulous Freebie Friday design team! These gals are crazy creative and totally talented! I like to refer to ourselves as the "Fabettes"! lol Well, okay, not really, but you laughed, right? Head over to our Paper Craft Planet group to meet my team and see what amazing creations they have made using this week's 24 hour free image, "Grecian Gracie".

I haven't crafted all week so I was feeling a little rusty when I started this card, but it didn't take long for my mojo to return. I was especially proud of my addition of the Tim Holtz "Muse" word stick at the very last minute! One of those crafty strokes of genius, if I do say so myself! The sketch is No. 46 from The Deconstructed Sketch. I haven't played along over there in a while, and I love Jen's sketches. Gracie was printed "big head" size and cut with Nesties Labels Seventeen. She was colored with Copics, with just her dress being paper pieced. (Papers are from DCWV, The Rustic Stack.) The border punch I used is one of my favorites and naturally it's from Martha Stewart! I usually pair it with ocean and sea related projects but decided to live a little today! I've also added my usual array of flowers (WOC and Recollections) and pearls as well as a couple of Stampin' Up brads. I also thought it would be fun to cross-promote my crafty friend and fellow Sassy Studio Designs team mate Kathy's Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge (#119), which is "Go For Broke". Loading up on embellies isn't a hard task for me! Please head over to the Sassy Studio Designs blog to see what her super team has come up with to inspire you to play along!

And be sure to pop in to Paper Craft Planet before tomorrow morning to download "Grecian Gracie" because after 24 hours, she's gone! There is still another week left of our "Spring Break: Anything Goes" challenge on PCP, and we'd love for you to join us! **You must use a SSD image for the PCP challenge. See our group for all the details!**

We have lots of exciting things in store for you at Sassy Studio Designs in April so I hope you'll check back often!

Happy Easter weekend and hope you enjoy your day!

Great card Regan! I really love what you did with he hair, and I never would have thought the gown was paper pieced. It looks like one of your coloring jobs! ;o)

Very pretty. I really like those papers, and the purple and orange together, and that charm was a great addition. The flowers are gorgeous of course (you must be running out by now!)

This is the most stunning color combo. I love orange, but never tried it with purple (going to try it now). Such pretty coloring and great flowers, too.
