Sassy Studio Designs Second FAN-tastic Release

Hello and welcome to the Sassy Studio Designs blog hop!   If you are arriving here from Rebecca's blog you are on the right track (and are probably tired and thirsty!  Phew!  This was a long one; take a break, have a drink, rest a moment... Okay, rest period over! lol).  If you have just stumbled upon the hop then you'll want to go back to the beginning at the Sassy Studio Designs blog where you will find the complete hop list.

I was assigned Renaissance Sassy as my image to show, but I fear she is not yet ready for viewing.  It has been a very busy week for me, and as will happen, time has gotten away from me. I offer you no excuses (other than the new blogger format is freaking me out a little), and hope you will check back shortly as she is in process and will be posted soon.  Until then all I have for you is my favorite and least favorite crafting tools.

Woo hoo!  M'Lady is ready!  Renaissance Sassy was another of my suggestions, but since there is already a Wonder Regan in the Sassy Studio Designs shop, her name is still being determined.  I have paired her with some Basic Gray Urban Prairie papers and the current sketch (#85) at Sketch N Stash.  Flowers, black rhinestone flourishes, and a Tim Holtz metal corner are the items I choose to embellish with.  I thought since art was an important part of the Renaissance that I would give her a "framed" look.  I used my Fleur de Lis Nestie to create this effect.  Her dress is paper pieced and the rest is colored with Copics.

Our amazing new release coordinator, Rebecca, has asked that we share our most and least favorite crafting items with you.  Have you even been to the craft store, looked at an item and thought "this is SO cool; I MUST have it!" only to get it home and realize it doesn't quite live up to its potential?  And as for the fabulous finds, well, of course we want to tell you about the things we love!  Though it's not the newest tool in my stash, I have to say that my die cutting machine is my absolute fave!  I don't know how I ever managed to make a card before it came into my life!  I own the Cuttlebug and have amassed a vast amount of dies and embossing folders for use within!  I just feel I am able to achieve a new level of creativeness with the variety of shapes and details the machine makes available to me!  As for my least favorite...  I really have thought about this and nothing really jumped out at me.  I haven't purchased anything lately that I was disappointed in so I am going to have to say my hot glue gun as we just do NOT get along!  I find him messy and awkward and though the hold may be superior to my trusty monoadhesive, I much prefer that neat, clean, and compact sticking power to the heated glob I inevitably end up with with the hot glue gun.  So I hope Rebecca is happy... There.  I did it.  It's official.  The glue gun and I have broken up.

Now off with you to Ruza's blog to see what gorgeous creation she has for you!  Don't forget to leave comments as you hop!  There will be Sassy prizes!  Two random winners will be selected from all the blog comments received from the entire design team.  It will be totally random and could be from any of the blogs so the more love you leave, the better your chance of winning one image of your choice.  Also, leave a comment on the SSD blog telling us what your favorite.least favorite crafting tool is and you're entered to win the grand prize of 3 of the brand new images!

Also, be sure to join us tonight on the party blog as well for a chat with the design team! The party starts at 7pm PDT (10pm EDT).  Hope to "see" you there!   Thanks for stopping by and happy hopping!

{hugs}
Regan
