Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge #30 - Shaped Card (NOT a Square)

Welcome to Challenge #30 for Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges! This week we'd like to see Anything but a Square. I opted for a circle easel card. Though I love making easel cards, shaped ones make me nervous for some reason, and the wee hours saw me on this one. It doesn't help that my mojo has been a bit off lately. Too much going on in my personal life, I suppose. It doesn't help that I think my son knows he's almost two and has decided to be the stereotypical "terrible" at meal and personal hygiene times or whenever I'm not devoting 100% of my attention to him... It's draining and for the past three nights when I SHOULD have been crafting after he went to bed, my butt was on the couch. I did watch 2 entire movies in one night, though! That almost never happens.

When faced with this project last evening, I struggled to get started, even though I had an idea of what I wanted to do. By the time I got moving it was already past my bedtime. And here's a piece of advice, never decide to use crackle glaze on a project you start that late! lol Needless to say, I set the whole project aside and finished this morning.

I know it's not quite August yet, but I am already thinking about my favorite holiday, Halloween! The Lil Haunts were the very first Tickled Pink Stamps I bought and *gasp* I have still yet to use them! So I printed out Lil Haunt Witch Lylah and paired her with a Stampin' Up set called Sense of Time to create The Witching Hour. I know, I know... The clock hands are no where near midnight, but just go with me on this one! Lylah is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers. The clock was sponged with Distress inks and over stamped with another Stampin' Up set called Baby Blossoms then covered in Crackle Glaze. After I assembled all the layers, I simply added some flowers, a tiny bit of bling, and a punched bat to finish it off.

We hope you'll join in the fun and play along with the challenge! Remember, you must use a TPS image to participate. These include the Lil Lolitias and Lil Lads, Lil Pinkettes, Pink Pets, and Cherrie!

Enjoy your day! And if you see my mojo... please send it back this way! :)

{hugs}
Regan

You did an awesome job! It is gorgeous! I know exactly what you mean by struggling to get projects done. I have been struggling myself and it is winning out versus crafting. I know I will get back into it soon. Sometimes life takes over! I love how beautiful the easel card turned out! It is simply stunning!
