Brotherly Love
Hello! Popping in to share the card I made for my brother's birthday. I've used Tempest of Ice from Stamps by Aurora Wings. Visit Mitzi's esty shop HERE for this digital stamp and many more! I colored the image with Copics and cut it using the Classic Long Rectangles Nestabilities (Spellbinders). The dies behind the image are from Fancy Tags Two (Spellbinders). I recently received some happy mail from a dear crafty friend of mine! In my package of goodies was four containers of Fran-tage! This was my first experience with the embossing powder and I am now officially obsessed! I sprinkled and heat set some Shabby White around the image here. The only embellishment I added were four Tim Holtz metal corners.
I love to give cards for people; it's my thing. I always have, even before I started making my own. I know not everyone shares my passion. Or my sentimentality for saving mementos. I'm aware that many a store bought card, and *gasp* maybe some handmade ones too, have ended up in the trash. So when my brother opened the card, removed his gift (cash! lol), and handed the card back to me, it was actually the nicest thing he could do. Ah, brotherly love.
Markers used: Copics (E00, E11, E21, E23, E31, Y28, N0, N2, N4, N6, B32, B34, R20).
