Best Friend Selfie

Hi!  I made this card ages ago, but I was finally able to get together with my best friend this past weekend and give her this belated birthday wish!  She is a Disney fan and I always cut half her face off when I take our selfies (she says I make her look thin!) so the Saturated Canary image Best Friend Selfie was just perfect to represent us!  I went all out on this one and love the end result!  I colored the image with Copics and then cut it using Lables Twenty Two Nestabilities (Spellbinders).  There are several other dies on here as well a couple of punches: Once Upon A Time Doohickeys Dies Castle (Magnolia), LLD-Accent It-Reel Life Die-namics (My Favorite Things), Lattice Doily Border (La-La-Land Crafts), Word Window punch (Stampin' Up), and Mickey Mouse punch (EK Success).  The hash tag sentiment is from a MFT stamp set called LLD Friend Request.  Papers are Disney's Magic Kingdom (Hot Off The Press).  I added flowers, Fran-Tage, Tim Holtz film strip, and adhesive flat back pearls as embellishments.      

We've been super busy here and my crafting/blogging time has been limited, but I'm hoping to get back on track.  I was sick.  I hurt my back.  I lost my job.  I got a new one.  Kayne started tee ball.  We've had practices.  We've had games.  It's been a whirlwind couple of months!  This week Spring has finally arrived with Summer-like weather so I'm hoping this is a sign of bright things to come!
