Hello! Late again! But better late than never I always say. Friday marked the start of a new KennyK's Krafty Krew challenge and it's cause for celebration! Literally. Our optional twist is "Celebrate"! Your project can be for any type of celebration: birthday, wedding, new baby, graduation... I went with the latter, making a card for my co-worker for her college graduation this weekend.
I colored up Graduation Girl from kennykdownloads for the occasion. She is colored with Copics and cut using Classic Ovals Nestabilities (Spellbinders) then matted on Floral Ovals Nestabilities (Spellbinders). I also used dies for the stars (My Favorite Things) and the doily border (La-La-Land Crafts). The two sentiments are from an acrylic stamp set called 4 the Grad (Hampton Art). Papers are from my stash, and I added some flowers and Jolee's number stickers for her graduation year.
We had a busy weekend full of tee ball and play dates including a trip to our local art museum for Star Wars Day. Kayne took a Jedi training initiation workshop there and it was a lot of fun! I was also able to sneak in a movie on Friday night to see the newest Avengers film! Between the yummy Chris Hemsworth as Thor and the sarcastic wit of Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark/Iron Man, I was a happy girl! How was your weekend?
