Happy Father's Day! We are hanging out with the family for a Father's Day cookout. My dad went to breakfast with me and my brother this morning too so it's been a day filled with yummy food!
I have two cards to share with you today. The first is for my son's father. Kayne specifically asked that I make one and I could not
decline such a sweet request. Kayne also made his dad a handprint canvas.The card features Star Boy Luka from La-La-Land Crafts. I love this little guy! He is colored with Copics, fussy cut, and matted on top of the Star Circle Nestabilities die with foam squares. Papers are Recollections - Comic Heroes. I also used my trusty Fishtail Banners Die-namics. I added a chipboard sentinent snd foam letters. The sketch is Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #186.
This next card is the one I made for my dad. This image, Papa and Me from A Day For Daisies, reminds me so much of my son and my dad!
The image is just so sweet! I have a picture of them walking just like this, minus the suspenders and slingshot! I cut it out using my Labels Twenty One Nestabilities from Spellbinders. I sponged the background with Baja Breeze ink and traced around the edge of the die for a bit of doodling. Papers are Simple Stories - Summer Fresh. I kept the embellishments simple with just a couple of buttons and die cut letters.
I am still blogging from my phone so be patient with me. I hope everyone is enjoying their day, celebrating with the special dads in your lives!
{hugs}
Regan
