The Corrosive Challenge #176 - Animal Antics

I am experiencing some technically difficulties so my card may not be posted until a later time, but I did want to tell you about a brand new challenge and sponsor over at The Corrosive Challenge.  We'd like to welcome QKR Stampede as our sponsor!  They have a fantastic selection with a mix of cute, fun and quirky in digi AND rubber!  Check out their shop HERE and see for yourself.

They kindly allowed each team member to select an image to work with.  Our challenge this fortnight is Animal Antics.  All you need to do to play along is create a project featuring an animal or animals.  I selected Special Delivery (stork) as it's always good to have baby cards in your stash.  The image is colored with Copics and fussy cut.  I used the current Deconstructed Sketch 104 as my layout.  I love using my Fishtail Flags Stax Die-namics die by My Favorite Things!  Papers are DCWV - Nana's Nursery Girl.

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, E31, E000, R32, R43, N0, YR15, YR24).

Kayne and I had our own animal antics yesterday when he took his first horseback riding lesson.  He loved it!  Not an ounce of fear and he did so well in the saddle and with the reins.  It was a joy to watch him and his instructor said he was such a good listener.  Kayne got to brush his mount, Nezzy, after their ride and even got to feed her a peppermint treat.  His instructor was super sweet and brought him out into the paddock to visit with all the horses.  One, Joe, followed us and served as our guide and protector.  We're told he has a thing for humans.  Kayne gave him a kiss in gratitude.

Please stop by The Corrosive Challenge blog to see what the talented team has created for this fun challenge!  Today is supposed to be a lovely day so we may spend it outside.  Kiddie pool anyone?  I also have some crafting to do!  And with no Internet to distract me, hopefully I will be productive.  (Although there's always the smartphone, at least, to keep me connected!)

{hugs}

Beautiful card Regan. I love your image and beautiful baby card. I am home and worn out from my flight and then taking my son to ER and spending most of the night there. He got sick after picking me up and it was serious, blood poisioning but he is better and I am getting rested up and will be back to crafting and ready for the next challenge.
