Brighter Future

This is one of the projects that popped up this week.  A co-worker asked me to make a "welcome home" card for his fiancee.  I believe she was just away on business, but what a sweet gesture!  As is often the case when friends or co-workers request a card, I was given free reign to create whatever I wanted.  This is the new Fortune Teller Honey from Sassy Studio Designs.  I thought it would be cute to use her with a computer generated sentiment that read "The Future's Looking Brighter..." and on the inside "Welcome Home!"  The image is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers.  I sponged the image panel with Antique Linen Distress Ink.  Glossy Accents added to the crystal ball give it some shine and dimension and a bit of gold metallic glitter pen to her jewelry and the fringe on her sash add a little sparkle.  I embellished with some trim from my stash, a few flowers, and three K&Company baubles.  The sentiment is cut with the Fishtail Flags Stax Die-namics from My Favorite Things.  Papers are Recollections Union Square (which is a the same as the My Mind's Eye pad by the same name).  Sketch is courtesy of the lovely Karen Giron at Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge (#169).

I am off to work on the next project as I have two creations to complete by tomorrow night.  I'll hopefully be back tomorrow with Day 6 of the Simply B(etty) Stamps 13 Days of Halloween and then Friday I'll have a new SSD FFF for you.  Thanks for stopping in and have a fabulous day!

Markers used: Copics (E23, E21, E13, E11, E37, E39, BG10, W6, W8, R32) and Prismacolor Art Markers (137, 150, 151, 169).
