It's a lazy weekend here so I thought it was a good time to do a little crafting and some blogging. It is World Card Making Day, after all! I needed a card for a friend and former co-worker who is moving to Florida this month. I decided to work with Pack Light from Saturated Canary. You all know I love Krista's images! They are so fun to color and this one was no exception! She was colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers then cut with a Classic Circles Nestabilities die. I matted her on top of a Picot Edge Circle Nestablities die. Both are from Spellbinders. The sketch is last week's from Sketch Saturday (#227). I missed entering the challenge, but I really liked the layout. The sentiment is from a My Favorite Things set called Going Places and is cut out with their Die-namics Fishtail Flags Stax. I added a few flowers and pearls plus the glitter binder clip so I can play along with the current challenge over at the Saturated Canary Challenge blog, Office Supplies (#27). Papers are My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary - Jack & Jill.
I have more projects to work on. And more that are done and need to be blogged. But for tonight, I am hanging out at home with the small man. We are in the Halloween mood and have already watched The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. I LOVE this Disney version of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow! But I also love the Johnny Depp version and after he is asleep mommy may have to make it a Sleepy Hollow double feature. I have big plans for tomorrow... some Fall baking. Homemade pumpkin bread perhaps?
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll check back soon! Enjoy your weekend!
