Simply B Stamps 13 Days of Halloween: Day 7

The countdown is on and the time crunch for Simply B(etty) Stamps challenges has begun!  We had less than 2 days to complete  a project for Day 7 of the 13 Days of Halloween over at Simply Challenged Challenges.  Luckily, it's the weekend so it wasn't too hard to play along this time.  It's next week that things will get interesting...

The theme for Day 7 is Grave Digger - create a graveyard scene.  I have created a stair step card using Banshee Lola from the Teen Scene 2012 Halloween collection.  I colored her with Copics and fussy cut her.  A bit of Stickles around the edges give her a little sparkle.  The paper is from the Brenda Walton Haunted pad from K&Company.  I really like this paper and wish I had bought more than one pad!  I used several Spellbinders dies (Nested Tombstones and Graveyard Scenes and Shapes) plus a Martha Stewart fence border punch to create my graveyard scene.  I sponged the die cuts with Distress Ink in Black Soot and Vintage Photo.  The sentiments are from a My Favorite Things set called Ghoulish Label Set.  The epithet cracks me up: "Here Lies A Girl. Who on Halloween Forgot. To Put Out Sweets. And Now She's Not."

Six challenges remain!  My goal is to complete them all!  I can't wait to see what's in store for us with Day 8!

I need to get moving over here as I spent all morning on my card!  Have a fabulous day!

Markers used: Copics (E21, E00, E000, E81, Y38, W4, W6, V15) and Prismacolor Art Markers (168).

I love this! If I were the recipient of this card,I think I would frame it in a nice deep frame, like a shadowbox, so you could see the depth of the layers. Very cool!
