Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Easter Pinkette Release Day

Today is the day! Today the four adorable Lil Easter Pinkettes are being released over at Tickled Pink Stamps! They are available only as digis and you can click here to go shopping. There is a 15% off release sale going on for 24 hours only so if you love these cuties, like I said, today is the day!

My card today features Lil Easter Daisy August. August is one of my favorite Pinkettes! Perhaps because her name is my birth month. Or maybe because she's so darned cute! Either way, when Kellie offered to let me make a creation for the release day post with her, I couldn't resist! I was bummed I missed previewing her due to my cold, and Kellie is such a dear to do this! August is colored with Copics and one Prismacolor Art Marker. She is fussy cut and popped up on top of my simple layout. I really wanted her, the flowers (a mix of Wild Orchid Crafts and Recollections), and the paper to stand out and take center stage! A bit of lace and a rhinestone flourish were the only other embellishments I added.

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, R20, E23, E25, E27, YG03, Y32) and Prismacolor Art Markers (192).

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
- Lexi's Creations: #59-Monochromatic
- Crafty Bloggers Network: #15-Spring Time
- The Cutie Pie Challenge: Flowers

Thanks for stopping by! Though my crafting may have a Spring feel to it, it's looking like snow here. I'm hoping they are wrong about the half foot prediction! I hope you have a fabulous day, no matter what the weather! :)

Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Pinkette Preview: Lil Easter Egg Faith

Hello, my friends! I'm back with the final preview for Tickled Pink Stamps' Lil Pinkette Easter release. Today I am sharing Lil Easter Egg Faith with you! Isn't she darling? I'm hoping her egg is paper mache, though, otherwise that is one ginormous chicken roaming around the countryside! lol Faith is colored with a combination of Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers. But it's mostly Copics at this point as my collection is growing weekly! I purchased two yesterday when I was in Michaels and then received happy mail today with my order of 12 new markers in it! I had ordered a bunch of greens since I've been using the same two green markers on everything for a year now! But anyway, back to Faith... The paper is from my stash. I believe it's called Easter Doodle from Moxxie. I used my Martha Stewart grass punch to create the bottom border. Flowers (the majority from WOC), seam binding, pearls, and some chipboard letters finish off the card.

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, E13, E15, E17, E19, R20, W4, W6, W8, E33, E34, YG03, R81, R85, Y32, V17) and Prismacolor Art Markers (143, 171, 192, 198).

I hope you'll head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what the other extraordinarily talented {PINK} ladies have to share with you! And if you leave a comment there you will be in the running to win a digi Faith of your very own! All four images are being release tomorrow!

I'd also like to enter this card in the following challenges:
- Karen's Doodles: #99-Pastel Colors with a Twist (Easter)
- Make It Monday: #78-Anything Goes
- The Crazy Challenge: #108-Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by! It is way past my bed time so I am off to catch a few winks before the start of another work day! I delayed in finishing my coloring and card assembly tonight. But I have a good reason! Castle was on. And he's just too yummy to miss!

Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Pinkette Preview: Lil Easter Chocie Coraline

Over at Tickled Pink Stamps we are in the middle of previews for the newest Lil Pinkette release, and I'm not sure it gets any cuter! So far we've seen Lil Easter Pinkette Daisy August and Lil Easter Pinkette Bunny Pippa. I believe I have finally bested the darned head cold I've been fighting for a week so today I'm here to share Lil Easter Pinkette Chocie Coraline with you! She is looking super sweet on my card, I think, colored with Copics and paired up with some papers from DCWV's Sweet stack, a doily, and my usual floral and pearl embellies. Her lil bunny friend may have trouble hearing all the "Oohs" and "Aws" though as she's already had a nibble at his ear!

You'll want to hop right over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what the talented {PINKETTE} ladies have to share with you as well. We have some new design team members joining us so please say "hello" to them and leave them some love! Also, don't forget to leave a comment on the TPS blog for your chance to win digi Coraline for your very own!

There are four images total so we'll be back tomorrow with the last preview and then the images will be available for purchase as digis only on February 29th.

Markers use: Copics (E11, E21, E00, E04, E23, E25, E27, E31, E33, E34, R20, RV34, R81, R85).

I'd also like to enter this creation into the following challenges:
- One Stitch At A Time: #102 - 'Use A Digi' Spring/Easter
- Totally Gorjuss: #120 - Yummy!
- Crop Stop: #59 - Is It Blooming Outside? (use at least 3 flowers)
- Delightful Challenges: Use Patterned Paper

Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous start to your week!

A Special Award

I have been triply blessed with a special award from three very lovely, talented, and sweet fellow crafters. The award is called the Liebster Blog, and I would like to thank Christine/Sweet Pea Cards, Rebecca/Sydney's Sentiments, and Kim/It's All About Crafting for this wonderful honor. Though I jokingly referred to it as the blogger's "chain letter", I figured since no one was asking me to send money (right, ladies?! lol) that it was best just to share the love!

Liebster is German for "dearest" or "beloved", but it can also mean "favorite". This award is bestowed on blogs with under 200 followers to show appreciation and spread readership and happiness.

To accept the award you must do the following:
1) Link back to the person's blog who gave it to you, and thank them
2) Post the award on your blog
3) Give the award to five other bloggers who you appreciate and enjoy
4) Leave a comment on those five blogs to let them know they've been chosen

Since I was hit 3 times I guess that means I get to choose 15 blogs? I'm not sure I have that kind of time today so I'm going to stick with the five (well, eight, I suppose, as I absolutely need to include the ladies above who started this all, of course!) Here are my five blogs, in no particular order:

Rachelle/I'm Black Martha
Jasmine/Wasted Scraps
Linda/Linda's Stamping Blog
Andrea/Annie Rose Makes Things
Sandra(Lotta)/My Little Scrap Corner

Each of these ladies I've selected is talented and fabulous with her own unique style and charm! Please visit them and see for yourself!

Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges #57 - Lolita

I am feeling a little grim and grumpy and a tad gloomy too. It's raining today and this image just suited my mood. The Tim Holtz Muse Token reads "Courageous" and I think anyone who has had their heart broken has shown a courage and a strength beyond what should be expected of mere mortals. I dedicate this last Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge to all those who bear the scars of love lost and in particular to a good friend of mine.

It is a sad day anyway since we have to say good-bye to the Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge, but fear not! TPS stamps will continue to delight us with their Lads and Lolitas and Pinkettes in digital form, hopefully for a long time to come! Challenge #57 is to use a Lolita. Any Lolita. So of course, it MUST be a Tickled Pink Stamps image in order for you to play along.

My card features Lil Valentine Lolita Lilith. She is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers. The sketch is from Seems A Little Sketchy (#7). Flowers, lace, and pearls are from my stash. Papers are a new 6x6 pad I bought last week called Lost and Found - Market Street. I also got to use my new Picot Edge Circle Nesties, and I LOVE the look!

Please visit the TPS blog to see what the beautifully talented {PINK} ladies have designed for you for this last challenge! ANd we hope you'll join us so that the challenge can go out with a bang.

I hope you have a good day. And as for me, I'll allow myself one melancholy day. That is until my small man wakes up and makes my heart smile! There's nothing like that love to chase away the gloomy grays. :)

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, R20, R81, R85, RV34, W4, W6, W8, W10) and Prismacolor Art Markers (143, 151, 198).

Dare To Be Sassy Thursday #113 - Traditional Christmas Colors

Today I'm here with a dual post for you! It's part Sassy Studio Designs' Dare To Be Sassy Thursday and part Sassy Studio Designs sponsorship of the Dutch Dare Card Challenge. I am fighting a head cold and suffering from lack of adequate sleep, among other things, so I am going to try to keep my post brief and informative.

Our DTBST challenge this week is the monthly Christmas one, and we want to see you use "Traditional Christmas Colors". So think lots of red and green! SSD is also sponsoring the Dutch Dare Card Challenge for the week (#153) and the challenge is the above sketch. I incorporated both challenges into one card using the Sassy image "Reindeer Games" blown up to 'big head' size and die cut with one of my Nestie labels. She is colored with Copics and Primsacolor Art Markers. The paper is from a Cloud 9 Design stack I bought at Joann's on clearance last year. Stampin' Up white organdy ribbon, a holiday Tim Holtz Muse Token, a few jingle bells, and a couple of flowers complete my creation.

Please visit the Sassy Studio Designs blog to see what amazing projects my fellow design team members have to share with you! And hope you'll play along with one or both!

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, E23, E25, E27, R20, YG95, YG97) and Prismacolor Art Markers (149, 150, 151, 152).

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

The Corrosive Challenge #143 - Another Dimension

Welcome to Another Dimension! Traveling through time and space not on your agenda this weekend? Well, no worries - there's no worm hole needed for the new Corrosive Challenge - just some foam squares or dots! We want to see projects that have lift and have been taken to new heights! As long as something somewhere on your creation "pops" you're in!

As anyone who has followed my blog for any time knows, I love to fussy cut and pop my images up so this really wasn't too much of a challenge for me. Therefore I decided to deviate slightly from the usual.... I double popped! I printed two of these gorgeous Lycaonia images from Delicious Doodles, cutting one whole image out and then just the wolves from the second. I layered the wolves on top of the main image with foam squares and then popped the whole thing up again with more foam squares when I mounted it to the card. Here is a close up of the dimensional effect:

And here is a close-up of the colored image:

I used my Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers on the image. The sketch is the current one from The Sweet Stop (SSS146). I had to alter it a bit and placed a pearl flourish where the text is supposed to be, but hopefully it's still acceptable. I even participated in the "spin" part of the challenge which was to use die cuts or punches. There are several different Nesties used as well as a Martha Stewart border punch. Papers are Winterland from Fancy Pants Designs. All embellishments are from my stash, including more of those amazing Wild Orchid Crafts flowers! This is a special card as it was for my mom for her birthday! She loves wolves so I thought it was perfect.

Inspired and want to play along? Head over to The Corrosive Challenge blog to see what the rest of the fabulous design team has created to inspire you and then link up your take on the challenge! You have two weeks to join in, and there is a wonderful prize from sponsor Tiddly Inks up for grabs (as well as a chance to be guest designer for April)!

I hope everyone is having a terrific weekend! Mine has been a busy one! Dinner with my best friend on Friday night (sushi/Chinese). Dinner with my family Saturday in honor of my mom's birthday (Italian). And tomorrow I have a Stampin' Up demo to go to! My bank account already took a hit when I placed my own catalog show order last week... And I know I am about to do more damage! lol I can't help it - I love their card stock and coordinating embellishments! Whatever you are up to today, I hope it is enjoyable! I will be sneaking in a little crafting time when I can as I have a very busy week with design team projects so make sure you check back to see what shenanigans I've been up to now...

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, E23, E25, E27, W4, W6, W8, Y38, R20, R32) and Prismacolor Art Markers (141).

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
- Delicious Doodles Challenge: #13-PINK to make the boys wink
- Card Crafter's Circle: #10-To Die For (die cuts and punches)
- Card Makin' Mamas: #39-Happy Birthday
- Aud Sentiments Challenge: Happy! (include a sentiment with "happy" in it)
- Sarah Hurley Challenges: #60-Die Cuts
- My Mum's Craft Shop Challenges: #44-Swirls and Pearls
- Truly Scrumptious: #74-All Creature Great & Small
- Digital Tuesday Challenge: #147-Use Your Stash

Sassy Studio Designs Fabulous Freebie Friday

T.G.I. F.!!! We all know that means the start of the weekend, but it also mean another fabulous free image from Sassy Studio Designs over on our Paper Craft Planet group! Every week we offer one of Lindsay's fun, sexy, Sassy images for the taking! Today's image is called "Cosmopolitan" and I simply love her! What better way to kick off the weekend than with a drink? Plus she is so fun to color and add gloss and sparkle and shine to!

We also have a bi-weekly challenge in the PCP group. You must use a Sassy Studio Designs image to play along, and if you use one of the freebies provided during the challenge period then you receive an extra entry in the random drawing for the Sassy prize! This fortnight the theme is "Tie One On". Yup, that's a clever little play on words there.... Though I know many of us may sip an adult beverage when we craft, that is not what we mean this time! lol We want to see something you "tie" on your creations - ribbon, twine, hemp, cording... Whether it's a knot or a bow, either way we want you all tied up! Head over to the SSD PCP group to snag the free image (which will only be available for 24 hours) and to see what some of the other Sassy design team gals have done for the challenge.

My card features a layout of my own design (I know! *gasp* No sketch? I started with one, but found it wasn't working so I scrapped it and ended up with what you see above) and new Kissing Booth papers "I Do" and Better Half" from Basic Grey. The image is colored with Copics, and accented with Sakura Glaze and Stardust pens. Baker's twine and bling are from my stash and those lovely flowers are my very first from Wild Orchid Crafts! My order arrived this week, and I am in love! lol Border punch is from that crafty maven Martha Stewart.

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, R20, E23, E25, E27, E34, RV34, R81, R85)

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
- Scrap-Creations Challenge: 3 Layers
- Tuesday Throwdown: #85-Entwined (use twine)
- Make It Monday: #76-Anything Goes
- Paper Pretties Monday Challenge: Use Flowers
- Stamps R Us Challenges: Anything Goes

Thanks for popping in! I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead of you (and perhaps even a long holiday one if you are in the US and are lucky enough to have Monday off for President's Day)!

Tickled Pink Stamps Sponsors Do You Stack Up

Today I'm here to tell you about another fabulous Tickled Pink Stamps sponsorship! We're proud to sponsor Do You Stack Up for challenge #59-Layers. This was an easy one for me as I tend to do this on my cards anyway. For my project I've used a sketch from Sketchy Colors (#104) and paired it with papers from the DCWV All About Boys stack. My image is one from the out of this world new Futuristic collection just released by TPS. She is called Lil Futuristic Lolita Christina. The sentiment is also from Tickled Pink Stamps. Flowers and bling are from my stash.

Please head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what my hugely talented design team mates have created for this fun challenge! And if you're so inspired, we hope you'll play along!

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, R02, W4, W6, W8, W10) and Prismacolor Art Markers (15, 17, 192, 25, 27).

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! I have a few Valentine's project to share with you today as well as the winners of my Valentine's Day Blog Candy! I am running late as I was up until the wee hours baking heart shaped cookie pops and making Valentine's cards so I'm going to keep it brief for now.

My first card was for my son's father. I've used Heart Balloon Luka from La-La-Land Crafts. He is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers. For a bit of fun, I paper pieced the balloon. Papers are from the K&Company Love is a Circus pad. Sketch is the current one from The Sweet Stop (SSS145).

My next card was made for my son's day care provider. I've used the same image and papers, but added some more feminine touches with the doily, flowers and rhinestone flourish. The sentiment is from Cat's Life Press and the border punch from Martha Stewart. This layout is courtesy of Stamp with Fun (#148).

My final project was made using my heart Nesties, the same paper as the other creations, and a pre-colored Valentine dragon image from Dustin Pike. Isn't he cute? These are going to the other kids at my son's day care along with some goodies for their party!

Now on to my candy winner! Congratulations to:

#6-Theresa
Winner of the Saturated Canary gift certificate
and

#26-Annie Rose
Winner of the SMASH Book "Mystery Package"
Congrats again, ladies! Please contact me at charmed_stamping(at)charter(dot)net to claim your goodies! Thanks to everyone one who entered and welcome to all my new followers!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day planned with their loved ones! My small man and I will be spending the evening with my parents and brothers. My youngest brother just announced his engagement on Sunday so there will be a lot to celebrate this Valentine's Day! Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Valentine's Day!

Sassy Studio Designs FAN-tastic Valentine Blog Hop

Welcome to the Sassy Studio Designs FAN-tastic Valentine's blog hop! (Please don't let Jon distract you... We'll get to him in a minute!)

That's right; they're finally here! The long awaited fan suggested images have been brought to life by the lovely and talented Lindsay! And they are cuter, sexier, and more fabulous than we even imagined! If you arrived here from Kate's blog you're on the right track. If not, you'll want to go back to the SSD blog and start from the beginning so you don't miss a thing!

I was lucky enough to have one of my very own suggestions make it to Lindsay's drawing board! And you'll see Wonder Regan just as soon as she lands that invisible plane of hers! (Okay, I admit it; I went too far with the procrastination this time and she isn't ready y
et! But she will be eventually and maybe you'll stop back.)
WONDER REGAN

Well, after a four hour "nap" I was able to get back up and finish my card. I have been so exicted to use these papers from the DCWV All ABout Boys stack! The sentiment is from a Michaels Recolllections acrylic stamp set called "Comic Talk". Perfect, right? This super lady is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers, fussy cut, and popped up on foam squares. Flowers and bling flourish are from my stash. The star was cut using my Nesties die and the border is a punch from Martha Stewart. I've used the current sketch over at Cards & Things (#107) as my layout.

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, R20, W4, W6, W8, W10, Y35, B02, B04, B06, R27, R29) and Prismacolor Art Markers (149, 209).

Since it's almost Valentine's Day, Rebecca (our amazing new release and blog hop coordinator) thought it would be fun for the design team to each share their celebrity Valentine with you. I asked if I had to pick just one (don't want the boys getting jealous and fighting now, do we?! lol). She said I was only allowed one celeb Valentine. (Can you imagine!?) So anyway, I have to go with my boy, Jon Bon Jovi! I have loved him, his music, and his hair since I was 12 years old, and so he has to be the one! Not only is he a talented and enduring musician, he seems like he's a genuinely nice guy! Plus he is one heck of a stage performer! I have seen him in concert MANY times and even got to meet him once. I have a picture somewhere.... It's a group photo of everyone at the meet and greet that night, but guess who is standing right in front of JBJ? Yup. That would be me! So Jon is my celebrity Valentine - I {heart} him! *giggles like a school girl* However, I would like to give shout outs to actors David Boreanaz (Buffy, Angel, Bones) and Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Castle) as well! Hey, a girl can dream, can't she?!?

Edit: I found my photo of me with Bon Jovi!
I'm the one in front of Jon on the right side of the photo.
This was taken February 19, 1993!

Now, if you can tear yourself away from Jon, you'll want to continue on the hop! Your goal is to make it back to the SSD blog where you will leave us a comment telling us who your celebrity Valentine is and why! One random winner from these comments will win 3 images from the new FAN-tastic release! While you're there you can also let us know if you'd be interested in applying for our guest design team spot for March. Simply add your name to the linky tool at the bottom of the post on the SSD blog and you'll be in the running! And don't forget to leave the design team members some love as you go too (it is a Valentine's hop after all!) because 2 random winners from all these comments will be selected to win 1 image! How FAN-tastic is that? Here is the complete hop order in case you get lost. Rebecca will be your next stop from here!

Kate
Regan (That's me!)
Robin (Guest)

Thanks for stopping by! The SSD design team will be chatting on the party blog this evening at 7pm PST (10pm EST), and we hope you will join us! For now, happy hopping and enjoy all the eye candy along the way!

Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges #55 - Color Challenge: Blue, Orange, Yellow, and Beige

What a week it has been! Zero motivation to craft, issues, and stress have caused me to waste away the week sitting on the computer. And even here I haven't been able to seem to get anything done! My biggest accomplishment of the week was acquiring 5 new Disney movies, 2 of which are currently "in the vault". It's lots of fun reliving these through my son's eyes, though, and I have to admit I'm enjoying myself (maybe more than he is! lol)!

I did manage to get one card made earlier this week for today's new Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge. If you haven't heard, this is one of the last TPSC ever as Kellie has decided to shut down the challenge blog. It is a sad day and a tough decision for her, but the entire team supports her and will be here until the end of February. Today's theme is a color combination and boy, did I groan loudly when I saw it: blue, orange, yellow, and beige? Whaaa? For whatever reason it screams "1970s" to me, but I actually discovered that I own an adorable paper pad from My Mind's Eye called Fine and Dandy with just the colors I needed! Who knew? So I printed off Lil Birthday Pinkette Faith and got to work.

Ms Faith is colored mostly in Copics with a few Prismacolor Art Markers thrown in. She is fussy cut and mounted with foam squares on top of layers and layers of fun! That sketch is from The Sketchy Challenge (#16), and as soon as I saw it I knew it was a must try! They are also holding a DT call so I thought it might be a good time to try for something new. When one door closes, another one opens, right? Well, I can hope so anyway! Along with the MME designer paper, I've used kraft as my beige as well as Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, and Apricot Appeal card stock from Stampin' Up. A doily, a Tim Holtz adage ticket, some flowers and a few pearl flourishes complete the card. I have to say that I am quite pleased with how she turned out! Not bad for a color combo popular the decade I was born!

And speaking of birthdays.... This pretty miss went straight into the mail to my crafty friend and design team teammate, Kathy Curry! Kathy's delightful work can be seen on her blog, Will Stamp For Wine. Happy Birthday, Kathy, and I hope the card hits your mailbox before this post hits your news feed!

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, E23, E25, E27, R20, Y35, Y38, YR04, YR07) and Prismacolor Art Markers (143, 198).

I'd also like to enter this creation in the following challenges:
- Celebrate the Occasion: #49 - Anything Goes Birthday
- My Time to Craft: #172 - A is for Adorable
- Birthday Sundaes: #42 - Birthday Card with Sentiment
- The Lily Pad: Patterned Paper

Thanks for the visit and stop back this weekend for the much anticipated Sassy Studio Designs FAN-tastic February release!

The Corrosive Challenge #142 - Love Bites

Wow, is it Sunday already? And is it February already? Yes, on both counts! February brings with it a holiday, or two. The groundhog saw his shadow. Six more weeks of winter. Oh joy. And the Super Bowl is on today. Is that considered a holiday? Yup, I bet to some it is. Not that I care much for football, even if the local team is playing in the big game. I have a toddler so will most likely be immersed in a Disney movie at kick off time. And that suits me just fine. Then there is that other holiday. No, not Presidents' Day! lol That dreaded Hallmark hearts and flower day! There is nothing worse than being single on Valentine's Day! Or worse, being with the wrong someone! A better scenario is spending it with Edward Cullen, but I fear he may have plans already. Where am I going with this lament, you ask? Why, to tell you about the new Corrosive Challenge - "Love Bites", of course! We were feeling a little kooky over there this fortnight and decided that we needed to acknowledge the other side of love, too! Unrequited love? Love lost? Love/hate? Tall, dark, and um, gruesome? It's all good for this challenge!

Our sponsor this month is the fabulous Tiddly Inks, and they have offered up a $10 gift voucher to their store for our February winner! Owner/artist Christy was kind enough to supply the design team members each with an image of their choice. I already had a few images. Then got my freebie plus some. And still I went back a couple of nights ago for more! lol For my creation I chose to use one I picked up the other day... She's called "Heartbroken Happy". She says so many things to me... She's dumped him, and she says "Bite me"! He's dumped her, and she says "Bite me"! Either way, love certainly does bite. And after a fight with my son's father yesterday, this was exactly what I needed. And cheaper than therapy too! (Although the retail therapy session in the afternoon was NOT! lol)

She is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers, fussy cut, and popped up on foam squares. The paper is from the K&Company Love is a Circus pad. All embellishments are from my stash, and I used two neglected crafting tools on this card - my corner rounder and my paper piercer. The sketch is courtesy of Card Patterns (#151).

Sassy Studio Designs Sponsorship: Just Inspirational

Good morning! I hope today finds you well.... Me, I'm a bit groggy this A.M. after another late night of crafting. But before I get moving, get caffeinated, and head to work I'm here to tell you about a Sassy Studio Designs' sponsorship. We are sponsoring Just Inspirational this week! The theme for week 14 is Steampunk, and Lindsay has loads of Sassy steampunk gals in the store that are perfect for this challenge! (And if you joined us for our PCP 5ooth member relay a while back, and played until the end, you got all of them for free!)

I've used one of the frames - this is Amelia. I've colored her with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers, adding a little whimsy by giving her blue hair, and made her the focal point of this week's sketch from Mojo Monday (226). The papers are from a mat stack by DCWV called Tattered Time. Tim Holtz embellishments are perfect for the steampunk look, and I've added a few gears and a word stick. The flowers are from my stash. I finished up with a die cut corner and flanked the card with punched borders from my Martha Stewart Iron Gate punch.

Head over to Just Inspirational to see what their design team has done with our steampunk images and to play along. There you'll find an inspirational photo and an optional sketch. You could win a fabulous Sassy Studios Designs for playing along.

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, R02, R20, E31, E33, E34, E25, E27, YG95, W6, W8, W10) and Prismacolor Art Markers (143, 198, 202).

I'd also like to enter this card in the following challenges:
- Crafty Sentiments: Punches and/or Dies
- Make It Monday: # 74 - Always Anything Goes
- My Crafty Spot: Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Tickled Pink Stamps Sponsors Divas by Design

If procrastination is an art form then I am a masterpiece! I always seem to wait until the last minute to get things done! And today's creation was no exception! (Although, as I type this there are still two hours until the challenge goes live so I suppose it could be worse! lol) I tell myself I work better under pressure, but right now all I'm thinking about is my bed... So briefly, I am here to tell you about Tickled Pink Stamps' sponsorship of Divas by Design. The theme is one we all love: "Anything Goes"!

I chose the digi version of Lil Perfect Match Lolita Pirate Lylah for my project. She is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers. Papers are from the Union Square pad from Michaels Recollections line. I'm really loving these right now! I used a sentiment from Gina K. Well, half a sentiment. It was a birthday greeting but I only inked up the "treasured friend" part. I can now use if for Valentine's Day or just because! I stamped a small treasure map around the edges of my image panel and then distressed it with scissors and ink. The bling swirls, lace, and flowers are from my stash. That super cool pirate doubloon was a RAK from my crafty friend MishB. Sketch is courtesy of Try Stampin' on Tuesday (#51).

Here is a close-up of my image:

If you'd like to see what the rest of the {PINK} ladies made for this challenge then pop on over to the TPS blog! And visit Divas by Design if you'd like to play along for a fabulous Tickled Pink Stamps prize!

I'd also like to enter this card in the following challenges:
