Hello! It's snowing here again and the storm is predicted to last through tomorrow so I am checking things off my To Do list today. So far we've had bacon for breakfast (yes, that was absolutely on the list), made Valentine's Day goody bags for school, and I've done some DT admin work online. Still on the list are things like dishes, laundry, dinner, and Valentine's Day baking. And maybe, hopefully, some crafting time. Currently I am knocking out that DT blog post item on the list.
I'm one of the DT coordinators and Facebook group admins for KennyK Stamps and Club KennyK. For 2107 we are changing the way we do our challenges and give away our freebies. If you would like to find out how to get this month's awesome freebie you'll need to join us over at Club KennyK and enter the monthly challenge. It's that easy and our theme is always "Anything Goes"! Each month there will be a new challenge and a new freebie. This month's image is from the Steampunk Burlesque collection and her name is Scarlett West!
The DT has a theme to work with each month and for February that theme is Red Hot! I colored up one of my all time favorite KennyK Stamps digis, Lady Raven! She is the very definition of HOT! I colored her with Copics, opting for red hair and outfit, then I fussy cut her and popped her up with foam squares to give her dimension. I added dies from my collection, some recycled black mesh, and a length of rose ribbon. Most of the dies are from La-La-Land Crafts. On this card I used Heart Fan, Lacy Heart, Lacy Heart Border, Dress Form, Wings, and Filigree Crown. The flames are from a My Favorite Things Stamps set called Accent It - Rock and Roll and the zipper is a Marianne Designs Craftables die.
Hope you like my card and that maybe you'll visit us over on Facebook! And now I'm off to do that other thing on my To Do list... shovel! Again. Lol
Have a fabulous day!

Happy Birthday, ElenaK!
Today we celebrate! I have been on the KennyK Stamps design team for just over 3 years now. I couldn't feel luckier than to be able to work with this amazing team, and I cherish the friendships I have forged. That is why today KennyK's Krafty Krew is taking the time to wish our lovely leader. Elena, a very happy birthday! Join us over at Club KennyK for the full celebration, but I wanted to share my card with you here.
Elena is one of a kind, and though we've yet to meet in person, we talk online pretty much every day. She is an amazing friend; so sweet and kind and generous! Fiery and feisty. Funny and fabulous. We decided that she deserved nothing less than a day of sunshine and rainbows! Each of the DT and GDT members created a monochromatic card in the color of their choice for Elena.
I, of course, selected PURPLE as my color. I colored up Sweet Melissa with my Copics. Hair and skin tones were allowed as well, but I did her clothes all in purple. Then I piled on the dies! A majority are from La-La-Land Crafts: Filigree Border, Filigree Elements Border Set, Flag Banner, World Heart Map, Skyline Border, and Arrows, but I also used Romantic Rectangles and Classic Circles Nestabilities (Spellbinders) and View Master Doohickey (Magnolia). The sentiment is from Circle of Friendship (Stampin' Up). After all that, it only needed a couple flowers as a finishing touch.
Thanks for stopping by for a peek at my card. If you'd like to see the full rainbow, visit us on Facebook at Club KennyK!
Have a colorful day!

KennyK Stamps 2017
Happy 2017! I'm afraid I've been quiet for a couple of months as the holidays created a flurry of festive activity around us, but now that we are halfway into January it is time to ease back in to things. I have been crafting, just not posting, and you will see me play catch up on my blog shortly. Before I do that, though, I'm here to share my first creation of 2017! And of course it's a KennyK Stamps one! We have made some adjustments and revamped things for the new year! All of the fun changes are coming February 1st, but in the meantime the design team, KennyK's Krafty Krew, wanted to sort of reintroduce ourselves to our fans. To give our posts a coherent feel, we selected a theme to follow. This time of year what could be more appropriate than in with the *NEW*.
I selected an image that I have never colored before (so therefore it's new to me) and used quite a few of the new dies I received for Christmas.
Angel Aurora was colored with Copics with the exception of her hair. There I used a black Wink of Stella pen to give her hair a glistening ethereal feel. She is fussy cut and popped up on foam squares on top of a gauzy piece of cheesecloth. Almost all of the dies are from La-La-Land Crafts. I've used Stitched Tags, Heart Arrows, Lacy Heart, Lacy Hearts Border, Winged Heart, World Map Heart, and World Border. The flourish is from Sizzix. I've also used two Tim Holtz dies - Mini Clipboard Top and Star Cluster border. The sentiment is from the December La-La-Land Crafts Club Kit (as are the two World dies). A few flowers in the corner finished it off.

Club KennyK Challenge #18 - Anything Goes
Hello! Am I the only one flabbergasted by the fact that Thanksgiving is NEXT week?!?! After our super busy October at KennyK Stamps we decided to take some time to breathe before jumping back into it! As a result the freebies that are normally available on the 1st of the month were postponed until today, the 15th. We also have a special one image new release as well!
Every month there is a freebie image exclusively for our newsletter members! If you want to get in on this perk, click HERE to get on the mailing list! This month's freebie is City Star!
Join us over at Club KennyK for access to even more freebies and Dollar Deals! This month's Club freebie is Sexy Elf and she is who I chose to create with.
I colored her with Copics. It was fun to create something Christmas-y again! (I'm already in the holiday spirit and even put some of our decorations up this week!) I used a lot of dies, of course. Featured here are Hello Tag, Tools Border, Scallop Snowflake Border, Loopy Doily Border, Tool Border, Candy Cane, and Snowflake Ornaments (La-La-Land Crafts) as well as First Place Award Ribbon (My Favorite Things Stamps). The sentiment is one of those $1 impulse buys from one of my local craft stores. Flowers from my stash and punched branches (Martha Stewart) finish off my project.
Today was also the official release of this cheeky sweetie! Elena and Kenny created this sassy creature for an artist's challenge. The theme was In a State so of course they opted for a sexy curvy pin-up in a State of Undress! Read all about it HERE on the KennyK Stamps blog!
I colored her pert little bottom (and the rest of her) with Copics and then fussy cut her. I used foam squares to pop her up and give her some dimension on my card front. I thought that the chalkboard style quote was just perfect (can you believe it's from a 6x6 paper pad) and opted to make this the focal point. I kept my creation pretty CAS (for me anyway), adding only a punched border (Martha Stewart), Hello Tag (La-La-Land Crafts) and flowers and a paper straw from my stash.
Thanks for visiting and hope your week is going wonderfully so far! Be sure to visit us over at Club KennyK on Facebook for our current challenge, crafty chit chat, and all the other fun shenanigans we get up to over there!

KennyK Stamps 31 Days of Halloween: Day 31
It's finally here! My favorite holiday is here! Happy Halloween! It's been a whirlwind weekend of baking and crafting and a Halloween party so I'm just stopping in quickly to post my card for today: Day 31 of KennyK Stamps' 31 Days of Halloween! We've been celebrating all month long over at Club KennyK on Facebook with mini challenges, contests, live coloring events, and more!
The fourth and final challenge theme is Something Wicked and I've colored up Hella Enchanta for it.
She is colored with Copics, of course. Layering dies is what I do so here I've used Wrought Iron Fence, Spider Web Border, and Spider Web Corner (La-La-Land Crafts) as well as Labels One Nestabilities and Graveyard Scenes and Shapes Shapeabilities (Spellbinders). The skull is a pre-cut die cut from my stash. Also from my stash are the flowers, a bling flourish, and a Tim Holtz Skull and Crossbones. The sentiment is from the new KennyK Stamps Halloween Sassy Sentiments.
Thank you for joining us for our month full of frightful fun and hope everyone has a magical day!

KennyK Stamps 31 Days of Halloween: Day 8
Hello! As predicted, the pressure to blog every day was too great and I succumbed to the dark side of the couch, BUT I will have more Halloween creations to share before the month is over and today is one of them. At KennyK Stamps we are celebrating the 31 Days of Halloween! A new theme has started over at Club KennyK on Facebook. We'll announce a new one every Saturday and they run all month so there's plenty of time to play along! Our theme this week is HALLOWEEN COLORS! We're talking orange, black, purple, neon glowing green....
Since I LOVE Halloween I decided that I wanted to share the love and spread the frightful fun! I selected Total Drama to make tags for some Been BOOed treats. If you don't know what it means to get BOOed you can check out the tradition HERE or simple search for it on Pinterest where there are all sorts of fab-boo-lous ideas! I started the mischief at work with my co-workers, but you can also BOO your neighbors or friends!
The treat boxes and goodies are all from Target (my HAPPY place)! Their Dollar Spot section is an awesome place to shop for inexpensive and fun holiday and seasonal items! I added a pair of Halloween socks, a packet of Halloween tissues, a Halloween memo pad, candy, and those amazing blinged out pumpkins! I made the clips with clothes pins and a pumpkin die (La-La-Land Crafts).
I printed and colored Total Drama 3 times then colored her to look like each recipient. I then trimmed and matted my colored image onto the Jumbo Fishtail Flags Die-namics (My Favorite Things). The black layer is embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder (Cuttlebug). I also added a BOO banner (La-La-Land Crafts). The sentiment I created myself.
BOO treats are supposed to be anonymous, but I was busted no thanks to my craftiness! LOL Thank you for taking a peek and I hope that maybe you've been inspired to do a Halloween RAK! Don't forget to visit KennyK Stamps at Club KennyK! Entries for the challenges do not have to be Halloween related but they must follow the theme. And there are some wicked prizes up for grabs!
Have a wonderful weekend!

KennyK Stamps 31 Days of Halloween: Day 2
Hi there! I was inspired to make another project for KennyK Stamps' 31 Days of Halloween! I remember the days when I used to blog every day of October.... It was a whirlwind of Halloween crazy! Can I do it again? Probably not. But I'm already ahead of last year's posts which were, um, zero!
Our theme this week is Sentiments and I decided instead of a card that I wanted to make an altered item. I took a chalkboard I bought from Target's Dollar Spot (that little section jammed packed with seasonal merchandise when you first walk in the door) and turned it into a decoration for my favorite holiday.
I colored up Book of Spells and fussy cut her. The rest was done with dies, flowers, and a piece of white chalk. The flourish is a Magnolia Doo-hickey. Pumpkins, Spiderweb Corner, Spiderweb, and Large Lacy Border are all from La-La-Land Crafts. The Crescent Moon and Mini Apothecary Bottles are Tim Holtz (Sizzix). And the witch's hat and cauldron come from a set called Witches' Brew Shapeabilities (Spellbinders). A quote from my favorite Halloween movie completes the project!
Join us over at Club KennyK all month long for all the festivities! All Halloween digis are on sale too! Want the code? Visit the Club on Facebook! You'll find us HERE!

KennyK Stamps 31 Days of Halloween: Day 1
Happy October 1st!!! My favorite month is finally here! It's the most wonderful time of the year! Halloween is only 30 days away and we are celebrating at KennyK Stamps' Club KennyK Facebook group!
Join us for 4 mini challenges, prizes, coloring party, live coloring videos, and more! Our first challenge begins today and I'm here to kick it off with a card featuring Foxy Mama! I wanted to make her into a witch so I borrowed Spell Caster's hat and fussy cut both after coloring them with Copics.
Our theme this week is Sentiments! I took the challenge even further and decided to create my own! I am no graphic designer -yet - but I was pretty pleased with how they turned out! I am sharing two of them with our fans over at Club KennyK so if you're not a member, come join us!
Ok, back to my card! I used a few of dies, of course... The mat behind the image was made with Classic Ovals and Floral Ovals Nestabilities (Spellbinders). I matted my sentiment with Fleur De Lis Squares Nestabilities (Spellbinders). The crow is from also from Spellbinders, a set called Halloween Fence Scenes and Shapes Shapeabilities. Wrought Iron Fence, Spider Web border, and Dress Form are all from La-La-Land Crafts. The big Spider Web is by Cheery Lynn Designs.
A couple of flowers, a bling flourish, and a Tim Holtz broom are my finishing touches! Come join us for some spooky fun all month long! And the great news is if Halloween isn't your cup of pumpkin spice latte, you can enter with any KennyK Stamps creation as long as you follow the theme! Happy crafting and have a fab-boo-lous day!

Club KennyK Challenge #17 - Anything Goes with a Twist: Favorite Holiday
Hello! I am so excited to be sharing one of the new KennyK Stamps Halloween images with you today! As many of you may know, Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday, and I love making cards and baking this time of year! I sort of put in a request with Elena and KennyK that we needed a classic, sexy witch - KennyK style! Never in my wildest dreams did I image the magic they would produce! Meet Spell Caster!
This bewitching beauty comes as a set and you receive 4 separate images (the cat appears merged here but he is his own image)! I chose to color the witch holding her wand at the ready!
She is colored with Copics and cut using the Classic Rectangles Nestabilities. On her skirt I used my clear Wink of Stella pen to give it some sheer shimmer. I loaded on the dies once again! Here I've used Filigree Moon, Filigree Border, and Pumpkins (La-La-Land Crafts); Tim Holtz Star Cluster, Weathered Clock, Twigs, and Owl (Sizzix); and Labels Four (Spellbinders). The witch's brew label is from a set called Wanda's Pantry (Waltzingmouse Stamps). I added a bit of lace, a few flowers, a mini broom, a Halloween sticker (Michaels Recollections), and a Martha Stewart cat punch.
I had so much fun making this card and I can't wait to color up and create with the other images in the release! We have three other new images this release: Book of Spells, Bride of Frankie, and Chummy Mummy! Visit the shop to check them out and come see us on Facebook at Club KennyK! A new challenge starts today! The theme is always Anything Goes with an optional twist! No need to guess what that twist is this time, right? Well, it's actually Favorite Holiday. But in my mind it's HALLOWEEN!!! The KennyK's Krafty Krew design team have created some gorgeous things so be sure to check them out!
I hope you enjoy the rest of your week!

More Awesome!
Hello! Today I am posting a very special birthday message to the one, the only KennyK!!! Please join us over at Club KennyK (the official KennyK Stamps Facebook group) as we celebrate his big day! There is a contest with some fabulous prizes, but more importantly come leave Kenny some birthday love!
The KennyK's Krafty Krew design team has whipped up some cards for Kenny. You can see all of them over on Facebook, but here is a peek at mine. I colored Party Time with my Copics and cut him using Classic Circles Nestabilities. I loaded up on dies using Sunburst, Stitched Bracket Border, Flag Banner, Honeycomb, Palm Tree Island, and Tropical Wave (La-La-Land Crafts) as well as Geek Is Chic Glasses, Stitched Squares, and Reel Life (My Favorite Things Die-namics). The sentiment is a Studio G Michael bargain bin find!
Kenny, along with his wife Elena, are the creative force behind the stamps we love so much! Let's take a moment to wish him another amazing trip around the sun!
Make your own birthday creation using any KennyK Stamps image (digi or clear) and enter on Facebook for your chance to win a $25 gift voucher to the store! Two other lucky winners will receive 3 digis of their choice!
Happy Birthday, KennyK!

Birthday Happy Hour
Hi! Yes, I really do still have cards left to show off! Lol It's been quite the busy blog week for me! Next up is a birthday card I made for a co-worker. I selected Happy Hour from KennyK Stamps because she reminds me of the recipient. She is colored with Copics and then matted with Fleur De Lis Squares (Spellbinders).
The card is then dressed up with several other dies from my collection. Here you will find French Pastry (Cheery Lynn Designs) as well as Lattice Doily Border, Lattice Border, Scallop Border, Dress Form, and Scroll Banner (La-La-Land Crafts). Some flowers and paper straws from my stash complete the card.
Cheers!
