Make It Crafty Design Team Inspiration: Geeky Love

Hello!  I am having a super busy crafty week here!  How about you?  It seems like all my design team projects are due all at once so I have been flat out every evening after work with coloring, creating, and blogging!  I have lots to do tonight but first I wanted to share my latest Make It Crafty design team inspiration!

One of my co-workers recently got married so I wanted to give him and his bride a special card.  I colored up Geeky Love Getting Married for the occasion!  I added a MIC chippie sentiment too (because I just can't resist them)!

Hi!  Today is my day to share more Club La-La Land Crafts design team inspiration with you!  I've made two projects to showcase with the August 2018 club kit, but before we get to that, a bit about the Club!

Club La-La Land Crafts is a monthly subscription of EXCLUSIVE stamps and/or dies from La-La Land Crafts!
Currently there are three Subscription Plans:
$39.99* USD Product Kit (Stamps AND Dies)
$29.99* USD Dies Only Kit
$19.99* USD Stamps Only Kit
*plus shipping

Choose the option that is right for you based on product/price then you will be automatically billed via PayPal every month and your kit option shipped to you by the end of the month!  Click HERE for all the details and to sign up!

I'm a LLLC affiliate and if you click my unique link at the top of my blog it will take you to the shop where I can earn a small commission from your purchase.

This month's kit was just too cute for words with Happy Camper Marci and the Happy Trails critters!  I'm not the outdoorsy type myself (bugs and I do not co-habituate well), but I had a ton of fun playing with this kit!

The first of my two projects features Happy Camper Marci and the bear from the Happy Trails coordinating stamp set.  I also incorporated the Camp Fire and Roasting Marshmallows dies.  I made a bit of a shadow box in my card front using dies and foam tape.  I used the sketch from Sweet Stampin as my layout.

My second project also stars Happy Camper Marci (because she's a joy to color)!  I used the Camper, Camp Fire, and Roasting Marshmallows dies from the kit as well.  I've fancied playing with sketches again recently so this card is based on the Die Cuttin' Divas sketch below.

Some Odd Girl Design Team Inspiration: Mini Witch

Hello!  Checking in with you on my posting day for Some Odd Girl!  It's September so we all know what that means...  My Halloween decorations are up and my brain is full of witches, vampires, zombies, jack o'lanterns, and candy!  And I will be crafting accordingly!

Kristy over at Some Odd Girl has been busy drawing up an adorable set of Halloween Minis! She has released NINE of them so far and I don't think she's anywhere near done!  I've colored a few of them up already and decided to use the Mini Witch for a card.  I also colored a Make It Crafty chipboard sentiment with one of my Copics and then added Yellow Stickles on top of it for a sparkly greeting on the front of the card!

The Paper Shelter Extravaganza

Hi!  I have decided that if every day were 48 hours instead of 24 I might actually get some things accomplished!  Like blogging my non-design team cards!  I have such a back log of them that I don't even know where to start!  Ok, so maybe I'll start here with The Paper Shelter.  I've got a couple of school themed cards followed by miscellaneous craftiness for varying occasions!

Up first is the card I made for my son for back to school.  He went back last week, but traditionally (when I was growing up) the week after Labor Day was when classes started.  This cute image is In the Class and he is colored with Copics.

And thank goodness for the teachers who spend 6 hours a day with our precious littles and teach them things, often giving so much of themselves in the process.  I always try to make and give teacher appreciation cards and gifts twice during the year - once for National Teacher's Appreciation Day and once for the last day of school.  (They usually get cards and treat for Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day too!  Because they deserve it!) . This card was for my son's 3rd grade teacher at the end of school this past June.  This image is Vintage Teacher and she is colored with Copics.

Next I have a card I made for a coworker who left to attend the police academy.  The image is called Police Officer.  I colored him with Copics and the coffee and donut dies are a little bit of added fun!

Make It Crafty Design Team Inspiration: Jake Sitting

Hi!  It's been a while since I shared some Make It Crafty design team inspiration with you!  I was on vacation the last time I was due to post and I ran out of time before I left to get something created.  But though I'm a little late this week, I'm here!  I decided to make a masculine card this time.  I didn't have a particular need for one but Jake Sitting was just begging to be colored.  I used my Copics, of course. Don't forget to check out Zoe's new venture into coloring classes at The Coloring Lab!  She already has several amazing courses available for you to try!

Now for my card!
