The Corrosive Challenge #218 - Things with Wings
Hello again! I'm back to tell you about the new Corrosive Challenge as well! This fortnight we are welcoming back fabulous sponsor artbymiran and her gorgeous art! She was so generous and allowed the team to select a few images to work with! I choose to play with Lovely Irene for our "Things with Wings" theme. You can find her and many more gorgeous images HERE in the Etsy shop and be sure to visit the blog as well! If you play along with us you could win 3 images of your choice!
I colored Irene with Copics and cut her using the Floral Ovals Nestabilities (Spellbinders). I don't know if you can tell, but I took my time with her pleats. Not perfect, but it's a start and I was pretty pleased all in all. I used a Tim Holtz Alterations Bigz die (Sizzix). This one is called Caged Bird. The arrow is also Tim Holtz (love that man), and the small heart is a Martha Stewart punch. I added flowers and a Recollections charm. Papers are Bramble Rose (My Mind's Eye).
Please pop over to The Corrosive Challenge blog to see the stunning creations from the rest of the team! They really outdid themselves!
We had to dig ourselves out yet again over here! My city has had 100 feet of snow this Winter so far and there is more on the way! I don't know about you, but I am really ready for Spring! Maybe that's why I chose the colors I did and added lots of flowers to my card! lol
So glad you could stop by and hope you have a wonderful day!

KennyK's Krafty Krew #189 - Anything Goes with a Twist: Sports
Hello! Welcome to a new KennyK's Krafty Krew challenge! It's been a busy week for me (holiday ones always are) so I'm running a bit behind, but I had to post so I could tell you about the fabulous new release as well as our new theme! Check out 4 new clear stamps and 2 new digis released today!
It's always Anything Goes with us but there's a twist! Today that twist is "Sports". I elected to use Sports Fan. I figured that way I have all the sports covered! He is colored with Copics and cut and matted using Classic Squares Nestabilities (Spellbinders). The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up set called Sporting and is cut with the Ribbon Banners set (Spellbinders). I also added a star (Stars Five from Spellbinders) and a banner from La-La-Land Crafts. Papers are Champs from Me & My Big Idea. Sketch is Sketch Saturday (#348).
Play along for chance to win! This week there is a special prize: the 4 new clear stamps can be yours! And if you use the twist you and you're our winner you will receive two bonus digi images of your choice as well! Plus our Top 3 each receive one digi a piece for the honor!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!
Copics used: E00, E04, E11, E21, E27, E35, E37, E50, E51, E53, R20, R37, R39, R89, B00, BG10, BG72, BG75, Y28, Y35, Y38, YG03, N0, N2, N4, N6, N8.

Happy Valentine's Day
Happy Hearts and Flowers Day! It's snowing here. Again. Another foot of snow is predicted so my Valentine's Day consisted of Chinese take-out and episodes of Downton Abbey while Kayne played his new Xbox game and asked me questions (or for food) every 10 minutes. :-) I'm off to do more crafting, but I wanted to share the selection of Valentine's Day cards I made this week. (I'll be back later with all the details for each card.)
My favorite one of the bunch is an easel card I made using Love from Saturated Canary.
This floral beauty is Gardener Gayle from Saturated Canary's Little Darlings Rubber Stamps rubber collection. Believe it or not, this is the first ever SC rubber I've inked. (She's actually also available in digi now as well as part of a special Spring Pack that Krista recently released.)
Here is a quilted creation using Patchwork from Saturated Canary.
Creaine Challenges (#45) - Sketch plus 3 Buttons
Golf Cart by Tiffany Doodles
Valentine Margarita by Impression Obsession
Inspired By Stamping (#90)
I hope you had a special day with your loved one!

The Corrosive Challenge #217 - Splash of Color
Hey there! I'm back with a new Corrosive Challenge! We are thrilled to welcome back a long time and favorite sponsor, Sassy Studio Designs! Lindsay has shared two of her newest images with the team and she is generously offering a prize of 4 digis to our winner!
Our theme was chosen by DT member Debbie Miller. She is our hostess this fortnight and she opted for "Splash of Color" as our challenge. This means your creation should be white on white with just a splash of color. When coloring your images, hair and skin tones are allowed as well.
I selected Capricorn Portrait for my card. She is colored with Copics and cut using the Fleur de Lis Squares from Spellbinders. Because the card base had to be white I wanted to add lots of texture. I embossed one of my base panels with a Darice Basketweave folder then added two punched borders (from Martha Stewart). I also punched out a sand dollar and some branches from Ms, Martha. The flourish is a Magnolia Doohickey die and the Wrought Iron Fence I used as a topper is from La-La-Lad Crafts. I popped on a few pearls (even giving her a lovely headpiece) and one blue flower to match my splash of color on her fishy tail. Sketch is Ike's World (#30). I sort of turned it upside down on its head, but I think you can still recognize it!
That is all from me today! I am hoping to take it easy... sleep in, read, craft, watch some TV. I know there's that little thing called the Super Bowl on tonight and that the rest of New England will be watching, but I just can't get excited about football. If you're like me and you'd rather create than watch the big game, join us over at The Corrosive Challenge! There are stunning projects from the team just waiting to inpsire you!

KennyK's Krafty Krew #188 - Anything Goes with a Twist: Love
Hello! Today is a busy day for me as both my DT posts happen to fall on the same date! So first up is a new KennyK's Krafty Krew challenge! It's always Anything Goes, but the twist keeps you on your toes! This time around our theme is "Love". It can be any kind of love, not necessarily romantic in nature.
Our sponsor is, of course, KennyKdownloads! Use any KennyK image to play along for your chance to win 3 images of choice! However, if you use the optional twist and you're our winner, your prize increases to 5 images! Plus each of our Top 3 receives 1 image of choice for the distinction!
For my card I used Madison Attitude! Because shopping! I mean, who doesn't love a little retail therapy, right? (This is actually going to a coworker for his wife's Valentine.) I colored Madison with Copics and fussy cut her. I went a little fussy on the whole card actually and added lots of goodies! Piled on there are papers from My Mind's Eye - Kiss & Tell, two La-La-Land Crafts dies (Hearts Doily Border and Heart Banner), the Heart Doily Die-namics from My Favorite Things, Small Labels Nestabilities by Spellbinder, flowers, pearls, cheesecloth, a Stampin' Up metal clip, and a Recollections chipboard sticker! The sentiment is from My Favorite Things, a set called More Essential Sentiments.
Spread a little love and join us over at KennyK's Krafty Krew! See what labors of love the rest of the gals have to share with you and then play along! Remember: you MUST use a KennyK image to enter!
We are bracing for another major winter storm here! They are predicting another potential foot of snow! Yikes! Because the almost 3 feet we got less than a week ago wasn't sufficient? Looks like it may be online retail therapy for me!
Thanks for stopping by and check back with me shortly for a new Corrosive Challenge!

Happy Birthday, ElenaK!
Today is a special day! Why, you ask? Because it is the birthday of one very fun, funky, and fabulous mama- KennyK's Krafty Krew's very own ElenaK! For those of you who don't know, Elena is Mrs. KennyK and our muse, our friend, and our fearless leader! In honor of Elena's birthday the Krew thought it would be nice to surprise MsK with a blog hop to celebrate! Each of the ladies has crafted a special birthday greeting for Elena. Won't you hop along with us?
Visit each Krew members blog and leave a comment! Then visit KennyK's Krafty Krew and leave some birthday wishes for Elena! One lucky participant who has visited every blog will be selected for a special prize from our DT Coordinator, lil ol' me! You have until February 6th to hop along!
Happy Birthday, Elena! Thank you for all you do to make this team shine!
Here is my card for Elena, featuring Jet Setter from KennyKDownloads. She normally has some luggage with her, but for this occasion I fussy cut her.
I've used the sketch from Incy Wincy Designs' challenge as my base and added the Heart Doily Border die (La-La-Land Crafts) to the top. Elena's name is stamped with a Whimsy Stamps set called Spell It Out by Raindrop Echo Designs. The letters were cut with the coordinating Tiny Shapes die set. I also used my Fishtail Flags Stax Die-namics. I added flowers, a bling flourish, a Tim Holtz metal corner, and the Hero Arts Fabulous Birthday sentiment cut out with a Stampin' Up punch. Papers are My Mind's Eye - Six by Six: Vanity Fair. Ink is Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

The Greeting Farm Day Off Anya
Hello there! How is everyone? We are in the middle of Snowpocalypse here in New England! It started Monday afternoon and is supposed to last until Wednesday morning, dumping 16-24" of white fluffy stuff on us! So we'll be hunkered down for the duration! Perfect time to hopefully get some coloring in! For now, I'm here to show you my last guest designer project for The Greeting Farm! It was such a pleasure to create with them this month and I'm sad my time is over!
Today's card features Day Off Anya. In retrospect it was perfect timing to work with her as I will be having a snow day! (Although, I think I'll need warmer clothing than the sweet little outfit she has on!) She is colored with Copics and fussy cut. I took my color cues from the fabulous paper by My Mind's Eye. It's called Follow Your Heart - Be Amazing. The sketch is the current Sketch Saturday (#345). The circle element was cut using the Picot Edge Circles and Classic Circles Nestabilities (Spellbinders). I added a bit of ribbon, a stamped sentiment, a few flowers, and a bit of bling for my finishing touches.
I want to thank TGF team for this amazing opportunity! I had so much fun coloring up these cuties and rediscovered my love for rubber and ink! You should visit the shop and the blog and you'll see exactly what I mean!
Copics used: E00, E04, E11, E21, E53, E55, E57, E59, R20, N0, N2, N4, N6, Y32, Y35, BG10, BG72
Challenges:
- Crafting From The Heart: #44-Always Anything Goes
- Craft Your Passion: #246-Always Anything Goes
- Dream Valley Challenge: #98-Anything Goes
