Dare To Be Sassy Thursday #29

Welcome to another edition of Sassy Studio Designs' Dare to Be Sassy Thursday! This week's challenge was to use the color combination below to create your project:

Here is my version:

Summer has been in full swing here in the Northeast this past week or two! It has been hot and humid - the kind of weather that makes you praise the God of Freon! It's also the type of weather that makes me sluggish and lazy and a little bit crabby because I insist on spending 15 minutes every morning straightening my hair only to have it POOF into instant frizz the moment I step outside! But I digress. So more than once this week I have caught myself daydreaming about lounging on a beach somewhere instead of doing whatever it is I'm supposed to be doing. I wish I could get away for even a day to breathe the salty ocean air and hear the gulls calling. But I can't so I decided to use SSD's Beach Bum image for my card to honor that quintessential summer beach trip! Although the reality of it is, if I were actually at the beach I'd most likely be spending more time trying to prevent my son from eating sand than I would relaxing and come home sunburned and uncomfortable so maybe crafting in an air conditioned apartment isn't so bad after all!
To play along simply link your creation here before next Thursday! The prize is two SSD images of your choice!

Card Supplies:

Images:
Beach Bum (Sassy Studio Designs)
Ink: printer, Prismacolor Art Markers

Green Galore and Basic Black card stock (Stampin' Up); white card stock (Staples); Sweet and Sassy designer series paper (Stampin' Up)

Regan, this is wonderful. You made those colors work so well, she is fab. Great coloring on her swimsuit. I know what you mean, I straighten my hair and it frizzes immediately in the humidity too. Stay cool in the ac and craft if you can, beats the heat and humidity any day!
