Warrior Princess

I can't even imagine hearing those words.  So when my aunt asked me to make her a special card for someone she knew who had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer I obliged.  She wanted a warrior princess and I thought She-Ra, a generous freebie from Mayzy Art, was perfect.  I colored her with Copics and fussy cut her.  Papers are Me & My Big Ideas.  The current sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp served as my starting point, and I embellished with a border punch, flowers, flat back pearls, and a Tim Holtz adage ticket.

It makes me sad to make pretty cards for such an ugly disease, but I know the recipient will appreciate my aunt's thoughtfulness and support!

Be sure to check out Mayzy's amazing blog and shop!  You can find She-Ra and other freebies HERE and her new shop HERE!

Thanks for visiting!  I hope you are all having a wonderful week so far!

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, R20, R81, R85, Y28, B00, N0, N2, Y32, Y35, E31).

Challenges:
- Creative Card Crew: #28-Girly
- Dream Valley Challenges: #49-Girls, Girls, Girls
- Stampin' for the Weekend: Something Girlie

Omg! A mini she-ra, princess of power. Yay!!! Lol. I loved waking up early Saturday morning to watch that cartoon along with he-man, the smurfs, the snorkels, etc. I'm sooooo aging myself here. Hahaha.

This is very beautiful Regan!! I really Ike the colors and everything. You're right, it sucks that there's such an ugly disease out there but there's always hope and I'm certain your aunts friend wiill love it.
XxJess
