The Paper Shelter Design Team Call

Hello!  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I was very busy conjuring up some crafty magic and so now I'm here to share that project I hinted at yesterday.  I've been working on it for three days, but the minute I saw Incantation, this adorable witch image from The Paper Shelter, I started the planning!  Halloween will be here before we know it, after all!  I happened to see on their Facebook page that The Paper Shelter was having a design team call.  I'm completely smitten with these gorgeous images so there was no way I could not apply!   Visit their shop HERE and you'll see what I mean!

My project is an altered photo tray turned shadow box.  The actual tray was purchased at Michaels.  It's from their Recollections line.  I printed Incantation larger than I normally would have for a card and colored her with Copics.  I fussy cut her, and let me tell you, that was no easy feat!  Her hair was a little tricky, and I may have inadvertently given her a trim!   She's so cute, though, that even with a bad hair cut she still looks amazing!  I did my happy dance as I pulled out Halloween papers, stamps, and embellishments!  I'll give you the complete list below for anyone who might be curious, but trust me when I say I used A LOT of stuff!  My desk was buried for a while there!  I had so much fun creating this, and she will be proudly displayed in my home this Halloween (and maybe even year round)!  Here are some close ups so you can see the detail.

Thanks for stopping by and wish me luck!  There are already over 80 entries so I've got some pretty talented competition!

Stamps: Incantation (The Paper Shelter);  Hocus Pocus, Wanda's Pantry, and Midnight Feast (Waltzingmouse Stamps); Nevermore (Inkadinkado); Make the Date (My Favorite Things); Witchboard (Third Coast Rubber Stamps); Witches Go Riding sentiment (Impression Obsession); assorted $1 Halloween sentiments (Studio G)
Ink: printer; Momento Tuxedo Black; Stampin' Up White Craft; Tim Holtz Distress Ink Vintage Photo
Papers: Enchanted (Authentique)
Dies: Weathered Clock (Tim Holtz); Banner Day (My Favorite Things); Fancy Tags Two, Labels Four, Labels Seven, Labels Sixteen, Labels Twenty-One, & Halloween Fence Scene and Shapes (Spellbinders)
Punches: Bat, Spider Web border & corner, and Mice border (Martha Stewart); Word Window (Stampin' Up)
Embellishments: Time Pieces, Game Spinners, Ornate Frames, and Word Keys (Tim Holtz); black rhinestone flourishes (Recollections); Skull Cameos, Apothecary Jars, White Pumpkin Repeats, and Glitter Spiders (Jolee's Boutique); Thickers SPARKLES chipboard glitter number stickers (American Crafts); black rhinestones (Nicole); baker's twine (My Favorite Things); and flowers, metal corners, and mini broom from my stash
