Simply B Stamps 13 Days of Halloween: Day 3

I'm back with my project for Day 3 of Simply B(etty) Stamps 13 Days of Halloween.  I am excited to be participating and my easel card was done last night, but I didn't have a chance to blog it before heading off to work this morning.  So now that dinner is done and the small man settled on the couch, I'm racing to get my post up and linked before the challenge ends!  That's proving difficult since Hocus Pocus is on and I keep getting distracted!

This time over at Simply Challenged Challenges the theme is "Where's My Mummy?".  The SBS ladies want to see us raid the medicine cabinet for gauze and wrap up our projects.  I decided to make an easel card using Marcy Mummy and Moses from the Spunky Spooks collection.  She is colored with Copics, fussy cut, and popped up with foam squares.  I wrapped one of the card layers entirely in gauze that I distressed with several Tim Holtz Distress ink pads first.  The bug paper is from last year's Martha Stewart Vampire pad.  I cut a panel using the Labels Five Nestabilities by Spellbinders from the same bug paper to place behind the image.  I added some flowers, a couple of bling swirls, and a banner from K&Company.

I can't wait to see what Day 4 will bring!  It's been so much fun to use my SBS images!  I don't know if I can keep it up for 10 more challenges but I'm going to try!  Hope you are having a fabulous week so far!  Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon!

Markers used: Copics (E11, E21, E00, E04, R20, YG91, YG95, YR04, YR15, YR18, E31, W4, W6, W8) and Prismacolor Art Markers (196).
